Letter from ISO leadersip to WIL of Zimbabwe
Dear cde Sakala,
Thank you for a beautiful statement and powerful demands.
However, let me hasten to say your organization's continued attacks on our tendency as always lacks a deeper understanding or rather appreciation of revolutionary strategy and tactics.
You will remember that even the Bolsheviks had the debate during the 1905 revolution but eventually they joined with father Gapon.
There are other similar instances like e.g:
ather Niemcer's popular quote;
When they came for the trade unions, I did not speak
Then they came for the Jews, I did not speak
They came for the gays, I did not speak
They came for the socialist I did not speak
And when they came for me, there was no one to speak for me.
In the 1930's Stalin instructed the German revolutionaries not to work with moderate unions, liberals and middle classes against the rise of Hitler's Nazis.
Trotsky called it stupid ultra-leftism. Nazis were a fundamental threat to everyone, especially socialists.
And it exactly what Lenin wrote about, calling it "Ultra-leftism an Infantile Disorder".
These perilous times cde and we are facing a deadly and vicious enemy which will stop at nothing to crush democracy and in particular the left to entranch itself.
Viva the Battle of ideas and leadership!!! ✊🏾🚩
