The Transnational Mining Companies get enormous fortunes with the blood and slavery of workers in Africa

The lie of the crisis of the companies
Gold workers Union has 94,000 miners. It started the negotiations for wage increase –in the sector of gold- since the last agreement was signed in 2013 for a period of 2 years and ended in June 2015. South African unions –including NUM which is the officialist miners’ union of COSATU- asked for a 20% wage increase, very below inflation and the lost of value of rand for the 7% devaluation; all these made life unbearable. AMCU –Miners and Construction Union- asked for a minimum wage of 12,500 rands and increase of the bonus of housing, among others; this was the demand of the miners of Marikana in the strike of 2012 and 2014.
Big imperialist TNCs and their banks, once they plundered our gold paying miserable wages and conditions of slavery, used a part of the extraction to sell in the jewellery shops in Europe and USA at millionaire prices; the rest they turn into ingot to be part of imperialist banks reserves; in the meantime the very same mining companies take from the market most of the gold so they can increase its value and when the prices of minerals and crisis start they want workers to pay it and that is why Anglo American and Lonmin are announcing layoffs. Not a single layoff! They must pay the crisis!

The mining companies blackmail us that if we don't accept what they want, they'll close and leave. So go! We, workers are the ones who get the mines working, not the bankers or the businessmen.
Nationalize and expropriate without compensation the Anglo American and all the mines and companies that plunder our nation, and let's put them produce under worker's control! Expropriation without compensation and place it under workers control! Expropriation without compensation of the banks and place them under workers control! There is where the money will come in order to build our houses, sewers, hospitals and give a free quality education for our children and cheap credits on the petty producers of the farms and cities.
We have to prepare a huge fight. Our demands of wages and living standards, the fight for houses, health, education of our children and the fight for judge and punishment on the killers of the 34 mineworkers of Marikana cannot remain in the hands of the class-collaborationist leadership of Cosatu, partner of the ANC and the Communist Party, let alone in the hands of Zuma, who has left free the murderers of our brothers and sisters of Marikana... saying there is no one responsible for the massacre! The ANC and the CP have shown themselves as the new black enslavers, representatives of Anglo American and the imperialist bankers. The workers organizations must break with the bosses and its government! For a national struggle's committee to prepare and organize the general strike!
