PRONOUNCEMENT
We, the National Miners Federation group all the miners of Peru and the working class of the big, medium and small mining sector. We thank for the class solidarity of our brothers and sisters from Colombia, Brazil, Bolivia, Argentina, Chile, Marikana and all the workers in Southern Africa and Latin America.
We support and we announce our strong rejection to the neoliberal policies of the pro imperialist governments and their businessmen allies such as the transnational mining companies like Votorantim, Anglo American, BHP Billiton, Drummond, Chinalco, Shougang, Xstrata and our plunderers of our natural resources. In a plot against PPK (Kuczynski), a loyal servant of imperialism and the transnational companies worldwide, we agree in reinforcing our efforts to confront the attack of imperialism that comes to plunder all our resources.
We also demand the nationalization of our natural resources and place them under workers control. They have to become an improvement of our living and working conditions.
If we don’t achieve these goals, we must expel the transnational companies. We have to take this task and fight to the entire American continent. Fighting against the government is fighting against the transnational companies. Those who rule in our countries with corrupt regimes sell out our wealth to imperialism, subjecting us to over exploitation.
The class enemy is the same:the imperialist transnational mining companies, which plunder our countries, taken away huge fortunes in plumb, silver, zinc, copper, gold, molybdenum, tin and other minerals, leaving us in absolute misery.
To get decent wages and pensions, free education and end with the slave labour, we need to re-nationalize our resources without compensation and place them under workers control. We support this slogan of fight and we call to coordinate it in the whole America and with the workers in Southern Africa.
The same way we are making a call to all the organizations in conflict, mines, docks, factories, schools and universities, poor peasants, to all those who fought for these demands and were betrayed, and those who keep on fighting in the whole world together with the miners that we will become one single class, one single struggle.
Under these circumstances, where the governments declared on us a continental class war on the southern cone, the exploited must respond with unity, conquering a congress of Latin American worker organizations.
We are in struggle to organize an anti-imperialist struggle as a spearhead to make the entire Latin American working class to rise against the plunder of the transnational companies and to expel the US military bases in Latin America. One single class, one single struggle from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego.
We should follow the example of the dock workers of Europe which, from Spain to Belgium, from the Netherlands to the UK, make effective solidarity to confront the second biggest shipping company of the world. No more traitors! Let the union federations break their pact with the regime and imperialism. Let them show that they are with the workers and the poor peasants. No more conciliation with the bourgeoisies that are lackey of imperialism. We back an international struggle with the miners of Colombia, Argentina and Bolivia in the Southern Cone, with the miners of La Escondida (Chile), Marikana (South Africa) and in the entire world against the transnational mining companies that plunder and bleed out our nations! Out with the transnational companies! We are all miners! Equal pay for equal work!
We stand in solidarity and we fight together with our class brothers and sisters in Syria, Libya, Morocco; the ones that go to Europe as refugees escaping from the counterrevolutionary massacres of imperialism, Putin, Bashar al Assad and other fascists that kill their own people. If we die together, we have to fight together.
This is our strength, the unity for the international struggle. We demand justice for the miners massacred in Marikana. The blood of the comrade miners killed by the state and its police claims for justice. We don’t forgive, we don’t forget. No more massacres and eviction of lands in Colombia by the government and the paramilitary gangs! Out with US military bases from Colombia, Chile, Peru. There’s no victory without fighting. For the unity of the international working class!
UNITY OF THE WORKING CLASS!
THERE’S NO VICTORY WITHOUT FIGHTING!
LONG LIVE THE MINEWORKERS OF PERU AND THE WORLD!
LONG LIVE THE NATIONAL MINERS FEDERATION!
