Support from de Marikana Fighting Committee (South Africa) and WIL of Zimbabwe
Solidarity with the miners of Rio Turbio, Argentina!
We stand with the miners of the state-owned company Yacimientos Carboníferos Río Turbio (YCRT) (Carbon Shaft of Rio Turbio), in Santa Cruz (Patagonia of Argentina), who are fighting against layoffs since January 14th.
The demand of the miners of Rio Turbio is the same demand of Marikana miners and all the workers in southern Africa.
Layoffs are the reflection of Argentina and the entire Latin America where the working class has been suffering a brutal attack of imperialism and its lackey governments, dictated by IMF.
With repression and massive retrenchments, the bosses, the IMF and the government they want to impose the labor reform in Argentina.
These retrenchments are part of a wave of thousands of layoffs of Public Employees, agreed between Macri’s government and the state governors, to guarantee the payment of the foreign debt to the imperialist banks.
For a unified international fight with the miners, Marikana Fighting Committee we stand in solidarity with Rio Turbio and we won’t let the dismissal of our class fellows, the miners of “RIO TURBIO” Carbon Shaft, where the government of president Macri fired more than 400 workers, leaving 400 families in the streets and without a stable job.
From the rank and file and the assemblies, let’s conquer the unity of the employed and unemployed workers!
With immediate demands, we support the call for rank and file assemblies in all organizations groups in Argentina, from all the mines.
It is necessary to expropriate without payment and under worker control the transnationals, the bankers, mines.
General strike until not a single one remains!
