To defeat Toyota's labor flexibilization

Appeal of the socialists of Japan to the workers of Democracia Obrera of Argentina:

Dear comrades of the Democracia Obrera of Argentina,

I'm writing this to let you know that, in the latest issue of our weekly Kaihoh, we have published your article on Toyota together with your letter to us. Thanks to them, we have shared your indignation against the evil attacks by the Toyota management and the pro-capitalist manoeuvres by the labour aristocrats and, at the same time, have deeply shared your passionate resolve to organize a revolutionary fight back of workers from their production points, from their working places. We have concluded that it is absolutely necessary for us to let this topic widely known to the Japanese working class.

The Toyota management is intensifying its attacks on workers here in Japan, at its home, too. In order to promote what they call 'carbon neutral' or 'digital transformation', Toyota capitalists are launching an extensive restructuring of their business and are hell-bent on imposing on workers more precarious employment, more cuts in wages and more terrible intensification of labour. Labour aristocrats of Toyota unions are serving them as their running dogs. In this 'Spring Labour Offensive', Toyota union leaders even changed their conventional 'labour-management negotiation' into a place for talking with President Akio Toyoda (in fact, for listening to his speeches) whereby to achieve higher productivity. Moreover, in the latest general elections in Japan, they dared to cancel their traditional endorsement of candidates from a bourgeois liberal opposition party and instead urged union members to vote for candidates from the Liberal Democratic party, the ruling party. (Labour aristocrats of the Rengo [JTUC] as a whole took similar attitudes in the latest election. They openly assisted the continuation of the neo-fascist government of Japanese imperialism!)

Comrades.
In opposition to such criminal moves of labour aristocrats, as well as those of the Stalinist JCP, we are fighting to organize a working-class fight back against brutal attacks by monopoly capitalists and the imperialist government. Let us fight together!
