The reformists of POR, who were responsible for the present catastrophe in which the Huanuni mineworkers are immerse, blame the latter's rank and file for their (POR's) own misdeeds.
LOR-CI and the other reformists have supported from within the farce mounted by the class collaborationist bureaucracy of the COB and their "Workers' Party"
The reformists of POR and LORCI:
Always backing the class collaborationist bureaucracy of the COB and FSTMB
Always to the feet of Morales and his Popular Front government
Loraites (that is, the heirs of Guillermo Lora, founder and historic leader of the Bolivian POR, NT) are adamant defenders of the former leadership of the Union, and its head Ronald Colque. Therefore, the Loraites blame the rank and file mineworkers of the MAS's offensive which they claim to having throwing down Colque. We Trotskyists affirm that Colque is no more at the head of the union just for having complied and finished his work (under the counseling of the same POR) of deceiving the mineworkers with his leftist verbiage while keeping them submitted to Trujillo and the FSTMB, which today defend openly the movement of MAS (Morales Party, NT). As we will demonstrate below, the "MAS's offensive" in Huanuni could consolidate itself after the betrayal of the General Strike of last May, which POR so much vindicates. This is the truth!
POR says that the "mineworkers are wrong and have sold their soul to the devil" because they "threw down an anti-government and revolutionary leadership in order to substitute a pro-government (MAS's) one". Though…what did Colque do when Trujillo and the FSTMB gave up the general strike and isolated Huanuni mineworkers in order to support the government? Nothing! He was a mere part in the mechanism of the trap against the rank and file, someone that the POR accuses today for covering the treason of the class collaborationist leaderships.
Moreover, POR and LORCI -alongside all the reformists that hailed the Workers Party of the COB's bureaucracy, as the LIT-CI, MST-JS, etc.- are the main responsible for the coming of the MAS's and governmental offensive. Before the mentioned strike Huanuni mineworkers had started to walk a way of open break with the government of Morales. Precisely that was expressed in the union elections of early 2013 in which the mineworkers, in order to defeat the pro-government slate of Trujillo's -already sold to the government and the MAS-; they voted for the "green" slate of Ronald Colque and the POR. And it was this same leadership of Ronald Colque's which only a few months after being elected organized in common with the class collaborationist bureaucracy of COB and FSTMB the first congress of foundation of the IPT (Political Instrument of the Workers, NT) a class collaborationist contraption by the COB in Huanuni. That deception mounted by the bureaucracy of Solares, Trujillo and Co., was openly supported by their partners of the lorci, which was integrating the Political Committee of the COB. This IPT was a real hoax whose objective from the beginning was to truncate the way of the mineworkers who were breaking with Morales and the MAS, so that they could be submitted again. The POR no only allowed for this deception of the treasonous bureaucracy of the COB: it contributed to the elaboration of the document of Huauni presented by Zuvieta, in which he sustained his class collaborationist policy of the FRA (Anti-imperialist Revolutionary Front -with whatever group claiming to be anti-imperialist, be it bourgeois progressive, patriotic, petty bourgeois left, etc., a policy that has been the graveyard of every revolution or workers upheaval in Bolivia from the '50s to the '70s and '80s to today. NT). Thus they whitewashed the class collaborationist bureaucracy of the COB and the FSTMB, already totally void of prestige in front of the workers' rank and file of all the Bolivian unions!
the right move would have been denouncing the trap and calling the mineworkers to recoup the COB by expelling the rotten union bureaucracy, in order to break definitively with the Morales government, so to set up again the COB of 1952 with its worker and peasant militias, so retaking the way of 2003-2005 and this time we effectively would take the power!
this is the truth! POR is an enemy of the revolutionary strategy, IT DOES NOT WANT to lead the workers to the seizure of the power with the COB of 1952.
This hoax of the IPT was what saved the life of the bureaucracy of the COB, which afterwards pushed the mineworkers alongside Colque -a leader of the POR- to stage a farcical strike, disarming Huanuni mineworkers before the brutish repression of Morales's; that was what allowed the government to pass to the offensive.
The POR cries against the rank and file mineworkers in order to defend its bureaucrat Ronald Colque. Small surprise, as POR has been supporting and disguising as "antigovernment and radical" every bureaucrat that gained the leadership of the COB betraying the working class. These reformists of the POR were who hailed the 31st FSTMB Congress in Potosi calling it "antigovernment and radical" and went so far as to hold shamelessly that Miguel Perez, who was assuming the leadership of the FSTMB, was retaking "the socialist theses of the COB"… while that congress had been inaugurated by the own Mining Minister of the government of Morales! today the mineworkers suffer the consequences of that betrayal and the POR shamelessly attributes the blame to them!
Loraites, the liquidators of the fourth International betrayed yesterday the 1952 Bolivian Revolution by backing the "left wing of the MNR" (a bourgeois radical party, NT); then they liquidated the Popular assembly of 1971 with their slogan of FRA, I.E., the submitting to bourgeois general Torres; today their role is to legitimize and sustain from the left the class collaborationist bureaucracy of the COB that supports the anti worker government of Morales… any other thing they do is posing as leftists crying against the government of the MAS for being a friend of the bourgeois government of al Assad in Syria who massacres the worker and peasant revolution with the support of the Stalinist FRA that the POR so much cherishes.

The LOR-CI/ PTS together with the class collaborationist bureaucracy of the COB and its farcical Workers Party:
to the feet of the government of Evo Morales, which attacks the mineworkers of Huanuni
Let's see… And LORCI does not show itself in Huanuni. Alas! No. It would be obliged to explain that the members of the Workers Party founded by the COB are sustaining the government of Evo Morales and they are who want to impose a surrender on the mineworkers of Huanuni… for where is the WP of the COB when the miners are attacked by the government? where was it during the COB's May strike? Besides, this reformist group, the LORCI, went so far as to say that Morales was prosecuting the 22 Huanuni mineworkers "in revenge for the formation of the WP of the COB".
One cannot be more a servant of the class collaborationist bureaucracy, kneeling at Morales feet than these people. they have used all their time convening lectures and debates to convince the workers and the students of the wellness of this WP; they have not tired of embellishing this farcical "Workers" Party of the bureaucracy of the COB recommending it as a "revolutionary" instrument useful to fight against the Morales government. Meanwhile the heads of this WP (the bureaucracy of the COB and the FSTMB) are who support the government of Morales, just having signed the "retirement law" of Morales' after giving up the strike of last May. They went overtly to the Plenum of the MAS to give their backing to Morales for the 2014 elections, and Miguel Perez voted in favor of the president/vice formula Evo (Morales)- (Garcia) Linera to head the official slate. they are also who give a guarantee to the bourgeoisie that the electoral way will be imposed after the defeat of the workers is made conclusive, backstabbing the mineworkers from Huanuni. How can anybody be so servile to the enemies of the proletariat?!
Where is it now the WP of the COB that the LORCI so much embellished and sponsored? We could say that its "silence is overwhelming"… but it would be a false notion. The WP of the COB, whose leadership attended the "Anti-imperialist Summit" convened by the Morales government -who is an agent of Wall Street's- is one of the essential links in the chain to impose the surrender and the defeat of the mineworkers both in the open class struggle and the electoral ground.
The LORCI said that the government was attacking the mineworkers of Huanuni because they had "impelled the WP of the COB"… This feverish group of reformists says that the government is afraid of the mineworkers due to their alleged "electoral power"!… We Trotskyists affirm that the government attacked violently the mineworkers in Caihuasi because it could not allow anymore that the dynamite of the miner was at the head of the demonstrations and struggles in the streets welding the revolutionary alliance between the workers and the peasants, because if that was the case, it would be the grave digger of the government of the MAS and the bourgeoisie. The government does not fear a class collaborationist WP: it fears the mineworkers heading the revolution and that's why it wants to defeat them.
Though we are not surprised by the social democratic pacifism of the LORCI, as it is the current that said that the chain of revolutions in the North of Africa and Middle East, like in Libya or Syria, were becoming into counterrevolution because they "militarize themselves", and that was in advantage to imperialism. For these pacifists, when the masses irrupt in insurrections and conquer the armament in order to smash the bourgeoisie… they "provoke the intervention of imperialism and the militarization of the conflict". If these reformists had been in the revolution of 1952, they would have said that when the worker and peasant militias emerged that smashed the bourgeois state, what was produced was not the revolution but the "imperialist counterrevolution". Please, no more kidding! these reformists only recognize the working class when it stages economic strikes with its state-ized unions. They never recognize the working class when it leads insurrections, build militias and destroys the bourgeois state as it happened in Libya.
Therefore the policy of the LORCI in Bolivia is that of the WP of the COB: it must go to elections and make a president-worker win, so he could administer a bourgeois state peacefully. That's why the policy of the LORCI is never to found anew the COB as in 1952 with its wrier militias, because that would be "the defeat of the revolution due to the militarization that opened the way for the imperialist intervention"
As we can seem the reformist policy of POR and LORCI can be explained in that they are enemies of raising a program that allows the proletariat defeating its class collaborationist leaderships and retake the way to the proletarian revolution. They are reformists that use "revolutionary" terminology to confound the proletariat.
