Brazil - August 3rd, 2017
The approval of the labor reform by the Brazilian parliament means the imperialist transnationals have managed to impose a historical attack on the workers and exploited of Brazil, which without a doubt will be imposed immediately on all Mercosur and the continent...
It is time to regroup the vanguard of the Latin American proletariat to stop the attack of the imperialist transnationals...
Today more than ever: open the way to proletarian internationalism! Open the way to socialist revolution!
DOWN WITH TEMPER’S LABOR REFORM, THE IMF AND THE IMPERIALIST TRANSNATIONALS!
OUT WITH TEMER! OUT WITH THE IMF!
OUT WITH BRAZIL’S PARLIAMENT, A PUPPET OF WALL STREET AND THE TRANSNATIONALS’ JUDGES!
DOWN WITH THE TREACHEROUS BUREAUCRACY!
Enough collaboration addresses in our fight organizations!
THEY DO NOT REPRESENT US!
We must join the workers and the ranks! Open the way to the fighters!
REVOLUTIONARY GENERAL STRIKE NOW!
THE CAPITALISTS SHOULD BE EXPROPRIATED!
Just over two weeks ago, a handful of senators, under the command of the IMF and the imperialist transnationals, approved the "Labor Reform Act", a historic attack on the working class and the exploited in Brazil and with consequences for the whole of Mercosur and the continent.
Tragically this historic attack by the bosses was consolidated a few weeks after the second General Strike that shook Brazil on June 30 (which was openly boycotted by the CUT, FS, CTB, etc., bureaucracy) and after a year marked by massive actions in the streets and decisive revolutionary combats such as the takeover of Brasilia on May 24, the general strike of April 28, etc.
The approval of the labor reform bill was a huge defeat and is a decisive framework change in the history of the labor movement that demands an explanation. Because after so many days of struggle, so many pickets, roadblocks, street marches and two general strikes, how was that approval possible?
And unfortunately we have to say that it was possible because of the policy carried out by the leaders of the workers' movement and the movements of exploited of the countryside and the city. These leaderships on the reformist left and the renegades of Marxism were dedicated to poisoning the consciousness of the workers and the exploited first by making them believe that this rotten capitalist system could emerge from its crisis without uprooting the historical conquests of workers, as we are witnessing today. And second, by tying the hands of the working class and subjecting it to the "progressive" bourgeoisie of the PT and to the Bolivarians and then Obama, at a continental level, so that it does not respond to the ferocious war that imperialism threw against the world working class since 2007-2008.
With this reform the imperialist transnationals managed to impose a historical attack on the workers and the exploited of Brazil and that will undoubtedly be imposed immediately on the whole of Mercosur and the entire continent as already discussed in Argentina and Peru and has been already applied in Chile and Colombia.
It is that we are in the midst of an economic crisis that does not give peace to the exploited, a crisis which today has focused on the BRICS (which had been operating as counter balance in the crisis) and which in Brazil is developed on the basis of a general bankruptcy of the states’ treasuries, the national treasury, and the Central Bank reserves, all to pay for the fraudulent foreign debt and the catastrophic costs of financial speculation with the high interest rates on which Wall Street lent to them. This was the farce of the "Brazilian Miracle", which was nothing more than a round-the-clock business of imperialism, the owners of construction companies such as OAS, Odebrecht, Camargo, etc., and the food and agribusiness multinationals that plundered the countryside and natural resources like JBS, BRF, etc. At the same time the the looting of the minerals and the oil advanced at any cost, with the long ago privatized Vale do Rio Doce (biggest Iron Miner in the world,NT) and the sell-out of Petrobras (Brazil’s State Oil Company, NT).
The results are for everybody to see. The entire bourgeoisie made fabulous business; no construction work was completed, no hydroelectric dams, no refineries, no roads, no nothing. All food industries left millions of exploited mutilated, crippled and disabled while destroying the soil and all the small producers’ fields, based on a fierce offensive against the peasants through historical massacres. The oil was sold at a banana price and today Petrobras sinks to the bottom value for the capitalists to privatize it definitively for a dime; the ore was delivered contaminating the waters and killing everything in its path even the exploited ones as we saw in Mariana, Minas Geraes State, Brazil.
All the bourgeois and their parties were standing on the plate of this "miracle". And if they were able to do so, it was thanks to a terrible Social Pact between imperialism, the slave-owning employers, the PT government and the trade union bureaucracy that kept the labor movement in check so that it would not rebel. These, together with the reformist left from the World Social Forum, subjected the exploited to the PT in Brazil and to all the Bolivarians in the continent to strangle the revolutionary fight that shook the continent from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego.
Today that bubble explodes, in the midst of a new round of the crisis and in the midst of an incessant imperialists’ need to advance in increasingly enslaving the working class and plundering Brazil much more. That is why Temer's illegitimate government advances in approving this "reform", the slave-owning bosses applaud, imperialism rubs its hands and the imperialist transnationals come in an all-out drive to establish a new production cycle based on a sweatshop slave production plan imposed over the entire Brazilian and Latin American proletariat.
SEATING ON THE DEFEAT OF THE SOCIALIST REVOLUTION THAT SHOOK THE WORLD STARTING IN 2008, WITH THE CONTRARREVOLUTION IN SYRIA AND THE HANDING OUT OF CUBA TO WALL STREET, THE BOURGEOSIE IS NOW ADVANCING TO IMPOSE A HISTORICAL ATTACK
We are in the middle of an economic crisis that does not give peace to the imperialist transnationals, so they now come in an all-out attack to establish a new cycle of production, and it is evident that this cycle will be at the expense of the rights won by the working class in decades of struggle. For only in this way, by imposing a brutal labor flexibilization and a thorough wage reduction and an increase of the workday length and the production rhythms, capitalists can get throwing the costs of their bankruptcy on the exploited ones and coming out of the crisis that they themselves created.
These same parasites who today want to enslave the exploited of Brazil and the continent come from massacring the workers and poor peasants of Syria along with genocidal al-Assad and Putin, first under the command of Obama and today of Trump and the whole of the imperialist powers. They massacred without mercy the workers who revolted for bread and freedom, and this massacre was sustained by the Bolivarians, by the trade union bureaucracy and by the entire Stalinism and the reformist left. This is the social-imperialist Left, which, speaking of "real democracy" in the Middle East, supported al-Assad, and in America, they support Castro who gave Cuba to Obama and Wall Street, Maduro that kills the people by hunger along with MUD, etc. Thus they untied imperialists’ hands so that they could openly dispute their businesses among them without the threat of socialist revolution.
In addition, the period of commercial war between the victorious imperialist powers of the first phase of the world economic crisis, especially the US and Germany, is open, from which it is fundamental for the imperialist monopolies to reduce their costs and increase their profits and control on the whole of the workers. Thus they seek to increase their productivity at the expense of worker muscles, blood and sweat.
But the great tragedy, as we have been saying, is that if today the imperialist transnationals can advance in such an attack it is because their agents within the working ranks played a decisive role in disorganizing every revolutionary offensive of the masses.
With the union bureaucracies and the reformist pack they disorganized the offensive of the Brazilian and world working class as we saw tragically in the second General Strike and as we had already seen with the struggle of the proletariat in Greece, France, Spain and the whole of Europe against the new anti-labor plans –from where Temer and the Brazilian employers took the model for their labor reform.
We insist and we will be clear in posing what all reformists are silent about. If today they can advance in imposing a Mercosur maquila with a brutal flexibilization is because after the farce of the Bolivarian revolution the Castroes, Chavezes, Morales, Lulas, etc., restored capitalism in Cuba and handed it over to imperialism and opened the way for the latter’s offensive throughout the continent ... it is because after huge anti-imperialist combats of the Venezuelan masses Chavezismo, with Maduro today finishing its work, killing the people by hunger and a brutal repression in order to complete the work of handing out all the riches of Venezuela to US imperialists and to continue paying the fraudulent external debt... ; and because with Lula, Evo Morales and Kirchners, the Bolivarians were only a detour to deflect the socialist revolution and open the way for imperialism imposing on every corner of the continent the FTAA that Bush was not able to impose...
And because, along with trade union bureaucracies around the world and reformism, they supported the genocide of Bashar al-Assad on the revolutionary masses of Syria and the imperialist counterrevolution throughout the region by echoing the imperialist Islamophobic propaganda and its "War on Terror" and the "fight against ISIS"... when the real terrorists are Obama-Trump, Hollande-Macron, Merkel, Wall Street and the 1% of parasites that control more than 50% of global wealth and sink entire sectors of the Humanity in barbarism ...
Precisely, these counterrevolutionary victories over the foci of the international revolution are what fuel and give courage to the transnationals to advance their attack.
Without the advance of that enormous counterrevolutionary offensive of imperialism at the world level sustained in the betrayal of the directions of the workers' movement that sell false illusions, the illegitimate, corrupt and shaky Brazilian government (since all Brazilians hate it and only the exploiters and the bureaucracy support it) could have never applied such an attack on the working class and the exploited, much less after so much fighting and resistance by the workers and exploited.
THE ATTACK OF THE CAPITALISTS WAS NOT IMPOSED BECAUSE THE WORKERS WERE NOT FIGHTING BACK BUT BECAUSE OF THE TRAITOROUS LEADERSHIPS THAT SURRENDERED THE FIGHT
Contrary to what now sectors of the left say, there was no shortage of workers' combativeness or righteous hatred against Temer and his attacks dictated by the IMF. What was missing was a leadership that matched the working will in the class struggle.
Unfortunately the current leaderships of the workers' movement, the poor peasants, the homeless, the youth, etc., are the same that in 2013 were denounced by the working youth who shouted in the streets: "They do not represent us", and were subsequently expelled from their rallies. These treacherous leaderships have been all this time centralized with the treacherous leaderships of the world that come from perpetrating historical betrayals to the world proletariat.
Just as we did not take out of our organizations of struggle these infamous leaderships that carried the 2013 bout to a dead end ... today we are paying again the price of that ...
The lesson we have drawn from so many battles and gigantic and historical betrayals to our interests is that it is no longer possible to even dream of continuing to fight with these leaderships at the head of our struggle.
Yesterday we saw "Trotskyist" currents like the PSTU defending and demanding, even though Dilma was in the government, that it was necessary to pass a law against the dismissals by the imperialist transnationals that ruled the country, while they signed layoffs, suspensions, and job flexibilization in the metallurgical factories whose workers they represent and lead from the CSP-Conlutas as it happened in 2013 in the San José dos Campos GM plant. The same PSTU-LIT that was picturing the "democratic" generals of the Free Syrian Army of the Sunni bourgeoisie as "progressive" during the Syrian revolution, while demanding weapons from imperialism...
The MAIS that broke with the PSTU a year ago now takes a long step forward with its left-front and general elections policy in the direction of putting itself side by side with Stalinism and Castroism, which come from selling-out the Cuban revolution and sustaining the greatest genocide of the 21st century in Syria on behalf of the (alleged) "anti-imperialist" al-Assad and Putin. Today the MAIS is preparing to officially enter the PSOL under the Stalinist leadership of this party, whose president Luiz Araujo held "the whole left from the PT to PSOL supports the policy of President Nicolas Maduro of Venezuela." Today, Valerio Arcari (leader of MAIS) brings out a statement declaring that in the name of internationalism "We must stay in a political and military front with the government of Maduro against the coup of MUD and Washington" - very internationalist to defend Maduro against "the coup" while founding his party through silencing the massacre of al-Assad! It is now clear why the MAIS was founded in the "Homs Club" where the murals vindicate Hafez al-Assad (father of Bashar and who carried out the genocide in Hama at the end of the 20th century), silencing the massacre in Syria and embraced The PCB and the defenders of Assad and Putin.
The PSOL, on the other hand, seeks to eat by the edges of the rupture of the working class and the exploited with the PT and in doing so proves to be a true electoral party of the bourgeois regime with its "democratic" candidates like Freixo and his policy of humanizing Capitalism in bankruptcy...
We saw all this reformist left, from Stalinism to the renegades of Trotskyism, defending the lie that Dilma (Rousseff, the now impeached former president, NT)and the PT had suffered a coup from Temer (Dilma’s vice-president, now in the presidency, NT) and the right, and saying that it was necessary to fight for the democracy and the return of Dilma in order to face Temer and his attacks, which in fact had been included by Dilma herself and the PT in the government plans, as she ruled with Temer and the "right" ... Also when that left stated that it was necessary to conquer a real government of the workers, they called the latter to fight to remove all the bourgeois politicians through general elections ...
As nefarious as this role fulfilled by the reformist left has been the one the union bureaucracy of our organizations of struggle has played ...The CUT, CTB, the MST and the MTST put all their forces in the defense of Lula and the PT and subordinated the whole of the struggle of the proletariat to the interests of the PT bourgeoisie in the 2018 elections. And they do this while even Lula himself has declared that he does not disagree with or intend to reverse or annul the current labor reform.
This amounts to a huge tragedy for the proletariat. After decades of fighting to set up these organizations, at the moment it most needs them to defend its demands and conquests and under the leadership of a band of strikebreakers and union bureaucrats, partners of the bosses, they stand to defend the interests of the exploiters and these government of the imperialist transnationals.
ENOUGH OF CLASS-COLLABORATING LEADERSHIPS! OPEN THE WAY TO THOSE WHO FIGHT!
FOR A REVOLUTIONARY GENERAL STRIKE AND TO EXPROPRIATE CAPITALISTS!
We must say enough and make a real political revolution in the interior of our unions and organizations of struggle expelling all the bureaucrats that have sold themselves to the employers.
From the CSP-Conlutas, from the Intersindical (Inter-union front,NT), from the opposition slates against the bureaucracy in the majority centrals we have to advance in defeating the treacherous union bureaucrats, there is no time to lose!
DOWN THE TREACHEROUS BUREAUCRACY! It is necessary to retake the CUT from the hands of Vagner Freitas and the cutista bureaucracy and return it to the service of the struggle of the workers and exploited and not to the service of Lula and the PT.
ENOUGH OF TRADE UNION BUREAUCRATS AND MINOR PARTNERS OF THE BOSSES AS PAULINHO DA FORÇA AND HIS LIKES!
Enough of corrupt bureaucrats who sell-out tour demands to maintain their privileges as the peers of the FS, UGT, NCST, CSB did, negotiating the reform in exchange of keeping in their hands the union tax handling and compulsory collection!
THE WORKER MOVEMENT MUST BE FOUNDED AGAIN BOTTOM UP WITHOUT BUREAUCRATS AND BOSSES' AGENTS IN OUR RANKS!
It is necessary to regroup the forces of the working class from the rank and file to face this bosses' offensive by attacking the property of the bosses and imperialism. Enough of lavish business for the bosses and hunger wages, hellish pace of production and the most precarious conditions of work for the workers!
TO REALLY BE ABLE TO FACE TEMER AND THE TRANSNATIONAL PLANS FOR BRAZIL AND MERCOSUR, THE PROLETARIAN INTERNATIONALISM IS TO BE RECOVERED. IT IS NECESSARY TO FORGE A FIGHT BEYOND THE BORDERS AND TO COMBAT AS ONE FIST GATHERING TOGETHER THE ARGENTINIAN, URUGUAYAN, BOLIVIAN AND OF ALL THE CONTINENT WORKERS AND EXPLOITED ... MAINLY WITH THE AMERICAN WORKERS FACING THE HEADS OF THIS ATTACKIN THEIR OWN HOUSE.
OPEN THE WAY TO PROLETARIAN INTERNATIONALISM!
OUT WITH TEMER! OUT WITH THE IMF!
THAT ALL OF THEM GO AWAY FOR GOOD AND NOT ONLY ONE COMES BACK!
REVOLUTIONARY PROVISIONAL GOVERNMENT OF THE CUT, CTB, MST, MTST, CSP-CONLUTAS AND ALL THE ORGANIZATIONS OF THE EXPLOITED, WITHOUT BUREAUCRATS HANDING OUT OUR CONQUESTS!
ENOUGH OF THE FARCICAL BOLIVARIAN REVOLUTION!
OPEN THE WAY TO THE SOCIALIST REVOLUTION!
To really carry out a real combat of the exploited against the exploiters, we must conquer the party that the working class needs and deserves, an internationalist insurrectionist and combat, revolutionary party, fighting for the expropriation of the expropriators and for the International socialist revolution.
The Brazilian and Latin American proletariat needs a party: The Fourth International of 1938, after the legacy of Trotsky and Mario Pedrosa.
Enough of reformist Left adapted to the bourgeois regime! Stop the "anti-capitalist" left that lives going after a "progressive" bourgeois!
The proletariat needs its party, free of bureaucrats and agents of the bourgeoisie. The Stalinists and renegades of Trotskyism prevent it from standing at every step. We must declare war on them and fight for the regrouping of the conscious vanguard of the proletariat with the lessons of these tremendous betrayals. We must call on the proletariat to re-found the Fourth International, the world party of the socialist revolution under its legacy and revolutionary program of 1938!
