The event "Trotsky in permanence" was held in Brazil, organized by Frank Garcia Hernandez of the Cuban CP

Former Trotskyists gather together under the leadership of the Cuban CP to cover up for the nouveau riche of Castroism who restored capitalism in the island

From August 2 to 6 the online event "Trotsky in Permanence" was held, organized in Brazil. The currents that make up the FIT-U of Argentina (PTS, PO, MST and Izquierda Socialista/UIT-CI), the LIT-CI, the PO-Tendency of Altamira and the International Marxist Current led by Alan Woods, the same one that years ago delivered the Trotskyist Transitional Program to Chávez as to show him as "socialist", participated in the event. Likewise, there were currents coming from Spartacism, and the EEK from Greece. It is noteworthy that most of these currents are tendencies within the PSOL of Brazil and as such they participated in this event, including all the Mandelite tendencies, which are the self-styled "anti-capitalists" of the French NPA.
Paul Le Blanc, former leader of the US ISO and today a militant of the "Democratic Socialists of America" (DSA) of Bernie Sanders, that is, the "left" of the butchers of the US imperialist Democratic Party who today are in power with Biden, also intervened.

As we can see, almost the whole range of the renegades of Trotskyism were present at this event which was directly led by the Communist Party of Cuba, through Frank García Hernández. This leader of Cuban Stalinism was the same one who organized a meeting on Trotsky in Havana in 2019. At that time, the renegades of Trotskyism, well away from the Cuban workers and exploited, locked themselves in a classroom to "lecture" on the legacy of the leader of the Fourth International together with the Castro party that received with honors Mercader, the KGB agent who assassinated Trotsky. That meeting was the meeting of reconciliation, with the former Trotskyists embracing the executioners of the international revolutionary movement, who in turn "apologized" for having persecuted the Cuban Trotskyists in the 1960s.

The event that has just concluded was the continuity of that one they held in 2019, with an aggravating factor: this time they met days after the uprising of the Cuban workers and masses against the hunger they suffer due to the imposition of capitalist restoration on the island.
As we will show in this article, all the renegades of Trotskyism, beyond their nuances, subordinated themselves to the policy of García Hernández, representative of the nouveau riche of the CCP who want to use Trotsky's legacy to cover up the capitalist restoration they imposed on the island. The former Trotskyists are thus also concealing the enrichment of this new bourgeoisie as junior partners of the imperialist transnationals, while they are starving the Cuban masses, whom they violently repressed as the latter rose up last July 11.

The liquidators of the Fourth International have willingly disciplined themselves to this policy, usurping the clean banners of Trotskyism to legitimize the new bourgeois millionaires of the Cuban Communist Party. In the service of this, these currents exposed during 5 days, and intervened in the different "round tables" and "thematic symposiums" of this event. Together with academicians and intellectuals, they dedicated themselves to falsifying and destroying the program, the strategy and the entire revolutionary legacy of the Fourth International in order to erase the river of blood that exists between Trotskyism and Stalinism and to justify that for years they themselves have joined the so-called "New Left", in a common party with the Stalinist scourge.

The renegades of Trotskyism disciplined to Frank Garcia Hernandez and Castroism, on the barricade confronting the starving Cuban masses.

These currents pass off this impostor Frank García Hernández as if he were an "opposition fighter persecuted by the Castroite regime", which after imprisoning him on July 11 in Havana, would have kept him in house arrest. Some of them, such as the LIT-CI, even speak of him as a "Trotskyist activist" inside Cuba, when contrariwise García Hernández is a self-confessed Stalinist militant, proud leader of the CCP. This guy is such a fervent Castroite, that not only did he quickly clarify that his arrest in Cuba was due to a "confusion" and the next day he was released, but he also boasted of having been in the column of the Cuban Communist Party on that July 11, the same one that beat to a pulp the starving masses that mobilized all over the island. Thus, in the same days that the aforementioned event was taking place, García Hernández, in an interview for a radio station in Argentina, affirmed: "I was not with the demonstrators who were in the protests. Rather, I was (...) as a member of the Communist Party, marching with the members of the Communist Party. (...) A group of communist militants were shouting: 'this street belongs to Fidel', 'I am Fidel'"... To the four winds this Stalinist cadre unfurls his full Castroite flag! The same one he unfurled when he celebrated months ago the infamous support of the Castroite regime to the fascist al-Assad in Syria, who together with the hit man Putin massacred more than 600,000 workers and exploited.

García Hernández closed the event "Trotsky in permanence", defending the policy of the CCP about the problem of hunger and misery in Cuba being due to the U.S. embargo on the island. Clearly, García Hernández concealed the capitalist restoration imposed by the nouveau riche of the CCP. Tragically enough, in this event, the renegades of Trotskyism did the same, since in their various dissertations they silenced the fact that in Cuba private property has been reestablished, as well as the right to inheritance and, above all, that from the bowels of the CCP a new possessing class has emerged which is the Castroite bourgeoisie.
Beyond the differences they have on the characterization of Cuba, all these currents kept silent and concealed the businesses of the Castroite "red businessmen", associated with Spanish, French and Canadian imperialisms in tourism, nickel mining, oil, etc.
Thus they placed themselves on the barricade confronting the Cuban masses, because the only way for the latter to eat and recover their conquests is with a new revolution that expropriates all the businesses and properties of the CP hierarchs and the transnationals installed in Cuba, as part of the Latin American revolution.
They are such lackeys of Castroism, that in this event members from the Spartacist current were heard to affirm without any shame that the Cuban workers in revolt were all "counterrevolutionary agents organized by imperialism". Miserable servants of Stalinism!

Regarding the US imperialists' embargo, the policy that García Hernández is supporting from his blog "Communists Cuba", is a petition begging Biden to lift the embargo on Cuba, making the Cuban workers, the US and the entire continent believe that the new representative of the butchers of Wall Street can be their ally!
That petition was not only signed by old "Bolivarian" figures like Lula and Correa, by Sanders' DSA, etc., but was also supported by the majority of the currents that gathered at the "Trotsky in permanence" event, like the PSOL of Brazil, Mandelism from the "Unified Secretariat", etc. This is no coincidence: all the renegades of Trotskyism share with the CCP the will to hide that the only way to defeat the blockade is to confront the Biden government, with the unity and with the revolutionary struggle of the American working class -which had imposed the withdrawal of the US from Vietnam-, and with the Cuban workers armed as when they defeated the Gringos in the Bay of Pigs.

The sellouts of the Fourth International are covering with a "red garb" the party of Castroism that is imposing all across the Americas a "new 1989" (i.e., the year that Stalinism consummated the capitalist restoration in the USSR, China and other former workers' states). While the worsest stab in the back is being given to the revolutionary struggle for the seizure of power by the workers and peasants, making the masses of Cuba and the continent believe that "socialism" is the hunger and misery suffered by the exploited of the island, the former Trotskyists find themselves embraced by the ones who have sold  the socialist revolution out.
That is why it is not surprising that the Mandelite current has had a great protagonism in this event. Actually, Mandelism is a current proven for decades in its submission to Stalinism and in sustaining it when the events of 1989 took place. The very same Mandel dedicated himself since the second half of the 1980s, to support and legitimize Gorbachev, the direct agent of the US and UK inside the USSR, who, with his policy of "perestroika" (economic opening) and "glasnost" (political opening) began to hand over the workers' state to the world imperialism. So open is its rupture with the legacy of Trotskyism, that in one of its Congresses this current removed from its statutes the struggle for the dictatorship of the proletariat, that is to say, it openly renounced to fight for the seizure of power by the working class. How could it not support today Castroism which handed over the last dictatorship of the proletariat that existed!

An event on Trotsky where the legacy of Trotskyism was falsified to give "permanence" to the program of Stalinism.

As they have been doing for years, in this event the sellouts of the Fourth International revised the program and the theory of revolutionary Trotskyism, castrating its revolutionary content. Thus, they presented a Trotsky adapted to the "good manners" of the bourgeois universities, transforming him into a harmless icon and falsifying the combat waged by Trotskyism against Stalinism and other traitorous leaderships which are bought by the bourgeoisie to sustain the world capitalist system in its imperialist phase.
In this event the program of the Fourth International of death struggle against Stalinism, social democracy, the labor aristocracies and the trade union bureaucracies was liquidated. These currents dedicated themselves to show that the differences between Trotskyism and Stalinism were "ideological" or "theoretical" questions, and not that Trotsky's revolutionary legacy was to call to confront those counterrevolutionary executioners, servants of imperialism, with civil war, as was the program of political revolution to overthrow the Soviet bureaucracy and transform the USSR again into a bastion of the world revolution. For fighting for this policy, Stalinism persecuted, imprisoned and murdered the Trotskyists, beginning with Comrade Trotsky himself!
At 180° of this, the former Trotskyists in this event were silent not only on the historical betrayals of Castro-Stalinism to the world revolution and the surrender of Cuba to imperialism, but also silenced the stabs in the back they inflicted on the revolutionary struggles of the workers and oppressed of the continent, as in the U.S., Ecuador, Bolivia, Chile and recently in Colombia.

The maximum example of this is when at the opening of this event it was affirmed that "there is a revolutionary movement broader than Trotskyism", that is to say, that there are "revolutionary" wings of Stalinism, such as that of Frank García Hernández. Everything they debated in the different symposiums was at the service of this policy, as was the enormous weight they gave to the discussion on the "Workers United Front", which was vilely falsified to justify that the "united front" of these currents is with the Stalinist scourge. This is what the renegades of Trotskyism are doing all over the planet, setting up blocs and common parties with Stalinism, as was demonstrated by this event in Brazil together with the CCP.

This new meeting of the liquidators of the Fourth International once again confirmed that they have become neo-Stalinist currents, which, for example, in an open policy of class collaboration, are reissuing the old recipe of Stalinism of supporting the "progressive bourgeois" or "democratic camps" for the sake of "confronting the right wing" and "fascism", thus subjecting the proletariat to a sector of its executioners and liquidating any policy of class independence.
We could see it in the support they gave to Haddad-Lula against Bolsonaro in Brazil, while today the PSOL is discussing to make a front with the PT for next year's elections. It was the same recipe they applied in Chile: with the excuse of confronting Piñera and the regime of the Constitution of 1980, they all ended up at the feet of the Pinochetista Constituent Assembly scam, while in Peru they called to vote for Castillo "against Fujimori". Speaking of "all against Trump", there was no lack of support given by the renegades of Trotskyism to Sanders, the "left wing" of the Democratic Party today commanded by the butcher Biden.

In this way, these currents raise the Stalinist pseudo theory of "two-stage revolution", telling the working class that it has ahead a whole stage of struggle for "more democracy" against the "reactionary" bourgeoisie and it will be able who knows when, to fight for the socialist revolution, in an open rupture with the theory-program of the Permanent Revolution of Trotskyism.
With this policy, the renegades of Trotskyism did nothing more than collaborate in sustaining the deviations imposed on the revolutionary processes that have developed throughout the continent. That is why in all the symposiums the strategy of Trotskyism was silenced which, against any policy of class collaboration, fights for the rise of the armed soviets for the triumph of the mass struggles and the socialist revolution.
This policy raised by the ex-Trotskyists explains why this event was developed behind the backs of the working class of Colombia that suffers the massacre of the Duque-Uribe government, of the masses of Chile that have more than 2,500 political prisoners rotting in jails and of all the Latin American proletariat, hiding the need to conquer a common revolutionary struggle against imperialism, its governments and regimes and the traitorous collaborationist bureaucracies and leaderships. And the great absentee was the U.S. working class, although it is the one that holds the key to the liberation of the Cuban workers and of the whole Americas.

What took place in Sao Paulo was a session of the single party of Stalinism and the renegades of Trotskyism.

As part of the international policy of the so-called "New Left", the ex-Trotskyists have definitively dissolved the Fourth International to march to single parties at the feet of the Stalinists in the whole planet.
The renegades of Trotskyism want to justify their surrender of the Fourth International and their submission to Stalinism all over the planet, by affirming, as we have already said, that there are sectors with which to converge because they are part of the "revolutionary movement which is broader than Trotskyism". Even, in order to cover up their misdeeds, they went so far as to affirm that "there are Stalinists who do not know Stalin's crimes". The PO of Argentina (including the current Tendency of the PO) and the EEK of Greece -which were present in this event- dedicated themselves years ago to hold conferences and to discuss the setting up of a common International with a female minion of the hit man Putin, Darya Mitina of the Unified Communist Party (OKP) of Russia, with the excuse that this "sector of Stalinism is rethinking and drawing lessons from its actions".

What took place in Brazil was a meeting of the "section of the Americas" of this new international that Stalinists and liquidators of the Fourth International have set up. Just months ago, the "African section" of this unified party met in the event "Marxism Africa 2021" by the ISO of the English SWP, where they met with representatives of Zionism and the South African CP of the ANC.

The fact is that the "Bolivarian" bourgeoisies and the old World Social Forum have already surrendered all the anti-imperialist struggles of the masses and now have no authority to expropriate any revolutionary struggle of the oppressed peoples. For that reason, the renegades of Trotskyism and Stalinism have advanced throughout the planet to centralize their forces and set up common parties to contain the revolutionary upsurges of the world working class. That is the role they play in the "New Left", which this time met in Sao Paulo, where they enlisted to contain the irruption that is simmering in Brazil due to the profound hatred of the masses against the Bolsonaro government.
