It has been more than 2 months since the beginning of the Chilean revolution. From Arica to Punta Arenas we continue fighting against the murderous government of Piñera and Pinochet’s regime of the Constitution of '80, its corrupt politicians and its genocidal generals, all servants of US imperialism.
After 80 days of revolutionary struggle, the masses have established Friday as the day of struggle par excellence, focusing on the main streets and squares of the country (both in the different regions and in the Plaza de la Dignidad in Santiago), where the "first lines" face the repression of the killer pacos.
The working class and all the poor people are demonstrating that they are not willing to continue bearing unprecedented sufferings. This enormous revolutionary struggle is part of the same struggle of the exploited of Ecuador, Bolivia, Colombia and Haiti against the fierce offensive of US imperialism over Latin America and against its governments and sepoy regimes in the region.
With great class instinct, the exploiters have detected the magnitude of this enormous revolution that has begun in Chile and from the first day they have conspired to divert the combat of the masses, save Piñera’s government and the entire regime.
Today, from the bandit cave of Parliament, the “Agreement for Social Peace and the New Constitution” scam sealed behind the masses by the Pinochetist regime parties, from the UDI (Independent Democratic Union, TN) to the SP, from the CD (Christian Democratic Party, TN) to the Front Broad, followed by CP complicity. It is a vile deception to get the masses out of the streets and take them to the polls of this infamous regime, with the fraudulent referendum of April 26 and the "constituent reforms" that will not change anything: Piñera in power, the Caste officers as the fundamental pillar of the regime, imperialism with its voracious plundering of copper and all natural wealth and more hunger, misery and slavery for the workers and the poor.
While all these deceptions are woven, the Government and the regime keep strengthening repression and persecution, especially against the most advanced sectors of mass struggles, to punish all the exploited. There are already more than 40 dead as Mauricio Fredes, killed in the Plaza de la Dignidad, thousands injured, more than 300 comrades maimed, such as Gustavo Gatica and Fabiola Campillay, thousands of prisoners. And every day there are more "pacos" and agents of the PDI (Investigative Police, TN) in the streets, with more tanks, more bullets and small shots, more tear gas, while increasing the budget for repressive forces and the discussion on the "anti-hood" "anti-barricade" laws, etc. or the "zero tolerance" policy of the murderer Felipe Guevara advances.
The revolution we started and the blood of our martyrs are not surrendered or negotiated!
In these 80 days of revolutionary combat, the working class and the exploited masses already decided: "Out with Piñera" and "Enough of the Constitution of ‘80."
Therefore, against the traps of the bourgeoisie, we do not negotiate with this Government, executioner of the people. We do not vote in the April’s referendum scam. We do not delegate to anyone or allow anyone to speak on behalf of the millions who woke up and have fought for our dignity, to surrender our struggle. We do not want the peace offered by this regime of Pinochetist Generals, which only means deaths, repression, hunger and slavery. We want the victory.
Every day that Piñera continues in office is one more day in which the exploiters bet on wearing us down and continue advancing in their plans, doubling their attack (such as the increase in the cost of living with the increase in the price of the TAG, tolls and benzine) on behalf of US imperialism and their plan of looting and misery against the great masses. Meanwhile we have miserable salaries and pensions, labor slavery and the infernal 45 working hours shifts, education and private health, etc.; the imperialist transnationals continue making super-profits from the looting of copper.
The time to prepare a decisive action to bring down this murderous Government has come so that no stone of the damned civic-military regime of the Constitution of '80 remains. We must attack the capitalists, imperialism, their Government and their regime where it hurts them the most: their property and profits. The working class, the only class that produces all the wealth of the nation, is the one capable -together with all the struggling masses- of making this happen. We must advance to the Revolutionary General Strike until Piñera and the entire Pinochet regime fall! Let's stop the whole country: the mines, the ports, the factories, the transport, the hospitals, the state institutions, the high schools, the universities! Not a gram of copper out and let’s stop everything until this Government, U.S. agent, leaves!
The organizations that make up the "Social Unity Board," which they say they represent and speak on behalf of the working class cannot continue for a minute more without calling for the Revolutionary General Strike to bring down the Government.
For more than a month, the leadership of the "Social Unity Board" kept talks with a Government that has bloodstained hands and while the masses continue leaving their dead, their prisoners, their mutilated, disappeared, etc. fighting to defeat that murderous Government to end the hunger, repression and looting of the nation and the conquest of their fair claims.
As they had to admit, this policy did not help the millions of exploited who rebelled. On the contrary, with this dialogue, they have allowed Piñera to remain in power and continue attacking the workers and exploited. Now they announce that they have decided to end all dialogue affirming that only in March they will evaluate the possibility of calling for a General Strike! This means keep giving Piñera and the Pinochetist regime time to strengthen themselves, to set their traps against the revolutionary mass struggle, to double their attack of hunger, misery and repression that will be doubled against the vanguard of the "first line."
Enough! All their forces must be at the service of calling for the Revolutionary General Strike now. Otherwise, they will be complicit in upholding the Government.
Nothing prevents it. The working class has proven its predisposition to fight. As it happened in the different general strikes in October and November, workers have taken in their own hands ever appeal to fight.
The "Social Unity Board" has to break all truce with the Government and immediately summon the Revolutionary General Strike!
We have to impose it from grassroots assemblies and the factory committees of each mine, port, factory, work place, high school and university!
Let's vote it in Assemblies in the Plaza de la Dignidad and all the squares of the country!
We have to take the "first line" to every factory, port, mine, etc. so that the entire country is paralyzed! From all the "first lines" of Chile, let’s set up Committees of the determined fighters of the working-class and student youth to tour every mine, port, factory; we have to go to the great centers of the economy of the country such as La Escondida, Chuquicamata or the ports to join the miners and dock workers to conquer this Revolutionary General Strike with which we will overthrow Piñera and the damn Pinochetist regime, because only by attacking great capitalists and imperialism’s property, we can open the road to the revolution we have started.
There is no more time to lose! Those from below have to go for those from above or they will come for us! Let’s show them who rules the country! We have to fight like our class siblings in France who have paralyzed the country with a wave of strikes against Macron's Government, in defense of their pensions! The workers and the poor people who are carrying out the Iraqi revolution show the way, with the oil workers occupying the oil wells to face the regime of the US Protectorate in that country!
This path will allow us to set up the power of those from below, against the power of those from above, advancing in coordinating and centralizing by district, city, region and national level all sectors in struggle and all our organisms of self-organization and direct democracy. For a National Congress of workers, students, poor peasants and exploited in struggle! For centralized self-defense committees, along with the "first lines", and the workers and popular militia to defeat the pacos in the streets! For committees of rank and file soldiers that break with the Army officers and organize themselves together with the people in struggle!
The bourgeoisie want to deceive us with its "siren songs" of alleged constituents and plebiscites and their appeals of "peace", when they have declared war on us and enlisted the generals' sabers to return to massacre us, as in 1973 if we keep fighting.
This time we cannot allow to be tricked by the scam of the peaceful road to socialism that Castroism proclaimed in the ‘70s and that ended up being the bloody road to the Pinochet dictatorship that massacred the Industrial Cordons revolution. This time, advancing to the Revolutionary General Strike, we will march to the barracks, we will set up the power of the exploited to demolish the power of those from above and we will avenge our grandparents and parents killed by imperialism and the military and all our martyrs, recovering La Moneda.
The time has come for the miners, the port workers, the factory workers, the young and rebel students, the poor peasants and the exploited to rule. For a revolutionary provisional government of workers and peasants!
This will be the only government with which we can conquer decent wages and pensions, education, health, transportation, housing, electricity and free water for the people, end slavery and labor flexibility, get land for the poor peasant of Mapuche ethnic origin and for the exploited to eat, and all our rightful demands, recovering the copper for the Chileans, expropriating the transnationals and bankers without compensation and under workers’ control, ending with the theft of the nation's wealth by the generals of the Army and expropriating all expropriators.
This workers and peasants’ government will be the only one that disarming the armed forces and the repressive forces of the state, will be able to guarantee the broadest democratic freedoms for the people and a revolutionary Constituent Assembly, truly free and sovereign, that will be able to decide democratically without the bayonets of the Generals and the Pinochetist aiming to our heads. With the weapons in the hands of the bourgeoisie, the big bankers and imperialist transnationals, Chile will once again drowned in blood. Instead, with the weapons in the hands of the people, we will break with imperialism and conquer land, bread, freedom and dignity. The united people will never be defeated and the armed people will never be crushed or cheated!
