47 years after imperialism and Pinochet's
genocidal military coup that massacred the revolution of the Industrial Cordons
The best tribute to our martyrs is to return to the October path
Let revolutionary fire and barricade fighting reignite!
We must conquer the Revolutionary General Strike to defeat the Piñera government, the regime of the 1980 Constitution, the Pinochetista caste of officers and the fraud of their "constituent rederendum"!
Today the Chilean workers and exploited are paying with more hunger, unemployment, slavery, deaths, political prisoners and greater suffering, not having been able to lead the enormous revolutionary combat that began in October to victory, with huge independent actions, days of general strikes, barricade fights, clashes with the pacos, attacks on the private property of the capitalists, etc., featuring the working class and the oppressed masses.
This combat could not succeed thanks to the betrayal of the CP, the Broad Front and all the collaborationist union bureaucracies that played their full role to divide the ranks of the working class and the exploited and prevented them to take the road to the Revolutionary General Strike. Thus they removed the labor movement from the scene and separated it from the rebellious youth of the "front line", from the poor peasants of Mapuche ethnic origin and from the oppressed masses in struggle, though the working class is the only one that can attack the capitalists and imperialism where it hurts the most: in its profits and in its property.
Fulfilling their mission of preventing the labor movement from leading the mass offensive, for which Piñera would have had his days numbered, these leaderships put all their forces to subdue and lull the exploited with the scam of the "constituent referendum" that was postponed to next October. They did this because that referendum has the sole goal of making the masses not to resume their revolutionary struggle so that everything remains the same as before: Piñera in power, the armed forces with their share of copper, the repressive and murderous pacos, the same corrupt politicians of the Right wing and the Concertacion and imperialism plundering the wealth of the nation.
These leaderships saved the government and the regime from falling into the hands of the revolutionary mass offensive that had began last year. Thus the government and the capitalists were able to burden all the costs of the economic and health crisis on the workers and exploited, with hunger, forcing workers to go to work and risk their lives amid the pandemic, with worse anti-worker laws such as the "Employment protection law" (voted even by the CP), with the Pinochetista milititary in the streets to discipline the poor people who "dared" to wake up and fight for their dignity, struggling to fight like the workers of the Industrial Cordons in the revolution of the '70s.
But at every step, different sectors sought to retake the revolutionary struggle, such as entire communes that rose up against hunger, or poor Mapuche peasants fighting for the freedom of political prisoners.
They know that the indomitable forces of those below are not defeated, far from it. That is why today these leaderships have enlisted their forces to lead the exploited to vote for "Approve", together with groups of renegades of Trotskyism with the PTR or the MIT, when this has the sole objective of preventing people from fighting again as they had fought since October.
The same leaderships such as the CP that yesterday proclaimed the "peaceful way to socialism" with Castro and Allende to prevent the armed Industrial Cordons from succeeding and that ended up being the "bloody way" to the imposition of the Pinochet dictatorship, today they proclaim the "peaceful way" to democratize a regime that imposed itself by bombing La Moneda and massacring the revolutionary workers vanguard. Thanks to this policy that seeks to numb the exploited, and to the fascist gangs, armed by the transnationals, the assassins pacos and the Pinochetista generals, they begin to act as happened in the attack on the Mapuche community members on 08/01 or with the truck drivers taking roads over to demand more repression against the people.
Enough! We cannot allow them to impose the same traps with which they led us to dozens of defeats!
Out with the bureaucracy of the CUT, Social Unity and all the trade union and student collaborationist bureaucracies!
We must prepare and organize the Revolutionary General Strike now!
To make this path a reality:
Base assemblies and workplace councils must be set up in every mine, port, factory and workplace so that the working class can stand up!
Let the Industrial Cordons return!
May the rebellious youth return to go and fight alongside their best allies, the mining and port workers and the entire working class! For "front lines" in every mine, port, factory and workplace!
From the territorial assemblies, from the coordinators of the Mapuche community members and family members who fight for political prisoners and from all the militant worker and student organizations, we have to put all our forces to conquer a National Congress of grassroots delegates of the workers, poor peasants, the rebellious youth and all the exploited masses to put up the power of those below.
Along this path, we must urgently set up the self-defense committees and the worker and peasant militia to defeat the murderous pacos, the Pinochet generals who are once again patrolling the streets of Chile and crush the fascist gangs. For committees of rank and file soldiers who break with the officers and go with their weapons to fight alongside the people!
Let the workers organizations that claim to be militant, such as the Port Union or the Classist Central of Workers, put their forces at the disposal of this perspective to make the Revolutionary General Strike a reality that does not leave even a trace of this damn regime, servant to imperialism! Thus we will settle accounts with so much blood lost by us at the bottom!
Those on the top stole everything from us. We have to go back to chase all of them to recover what is ours!
Following the example of our brothers in the United States: without justice, without dignity, without bread, let there be no peace for the executioners of the people!
There is plenty of money to guarantee the achievement of our demands for wages, pensions, work, housing, and free health and education!
Chilean copper for Chileans! Renationalization of copper without compensation and under workers' control!
Expropriation of all the transnationals and usurious bankers robbing the people without compensation and under workers' control!
The solution for the exploited will not come from the hand of any fake referendum, but our best allies are those who fight inside the imperialist beast in the United States: the black people, the working class and the rebellious youth who face the Trump government, Piñera's boss. We have to fight like the workers and the exploited in Colombia who have returned to the barricade fight and are attacking the murderous police!
Down with the "state of emergency" and the curfew!
Dissolution of the genocidal officer caste, servant of the US imperialists! Dissolution of the pacos (cops) and all the repressive forces of the state!
Free the more than 3,000 political prisoners imprisoned in the dungeons of the Pinochetista regime!
Workers' and people's courts to judge and punish all the murderers of our martyrs of yesterday and today!
For a provisional revolutionary government of workers and poor peasants, based on the self-determination bodies of the struggling masses! Only this way can we guarantee the fair demands of the workers and the people, the land for the peasant, breaking with imperialism and expropriating all the expropriators. Only this way we can conquer a Constituent Assembly that is truly free and sovereign, imposed over the rubble of this infamous regime and the Pinochetista officers caste.
Chile will be socialist or will it be a Wall Street colony!
