Today from 9:00 AM, before the start of the farce of the Constituent Convention, a rally was held called by the relatives of the political prisoners who are still imprisoned as hostages of the Piñera government and the Pinochet regime. The convocation was developed under the shout of: "Neither homages, nor Constituent, unconditional freedom to the comrades!”
The "red pacos" of the Communist Party wanted to impose themselves as if they were leading the mobilization, but we the relatives of the political prisoners, activists and fighters prevented them.

Arriving at the Plaza de Armas, we got together different social and political organizations, Mapuche communities of Santiago, while the "constituent" deputies were entering for the first inaugural session.
We were crowding where the entrance was. The repression of the pacos (cops) of the Piñera government were quick to safeguard and protect that appendage of the Pinochet regime that is the Constituent Convention.

The clashes with the pacos still continue. The vanguard of the rebellious youth is still fighting, it doesn’t forget its prisoners, and it doesn’t forget its martyrs.
While we are gassed, wetted and beaten, those who fill their mouths with "democracy" and "freedom" are preparing to meet at the Constituent Convention so that everything remains the same: that Piñera, the murderous generals and imperialism continue stealing the copper. And for the workers and the exploited, hunger, unemployment, etc. continues, as well as the truncheons of the murderous pacos to repress and imprison us.
