Declaration of the POI-CI on the raid on political prisoners

The state gendarmerie of the murderous government of Piñera is raiding the cells of political prisoners...
Enough of intimidation and torture of Chilean political prisoners imprisoned in Santiago 1!
From all labor, student, human rights organizations, etc. of Chile and the world we have to stop this attack!
Immediate and unconditional release of all political prisoners!
On September 4 at night, the murderous gendarmerie raided the cells of module 12 of the miserable dungeon of Santiago 1. In this module there are most of the political prisoners. The actions of these hunting dogs of the state with the comrades were brutal. Their food was thrown away, the few things they have were requisitioned and even some of the comrades were taken out of their cells to intimidate them.
These measures are a true persecution of the young people who fought side by side with the working class of the country, as of October 18, 2019 to conquer Dignity and all our demands.
Faced with this attack, the voices of the political prisoners who rioted were raised from the Santiago 1 prison; likewise their mothers denounced this fact. In addition, they made a call appealing to the broadest solidarity and asked for this event to be denounced, which isn’t isolated but a recurrent one. As one of the comrades' mothers denounces, this is TORTURE!
While the farcical Constituent Convention is in session and they speak to us of “democracy”, while the electoral farce that covers up this Pinochet regime is underway and its fierce repression is in progress, our political prisoners are serving their sentences, they are being persecuted and attacked. Stop deceiving the workers and the exploited!
With our comrades taken hostage in prisons we cannot continue fighting! Enough of impunity! Trial and punishment of all the Pinochetist generals, the murderous cops and the repressors of the people of yesterday and today! For the dissolution of the murderous police and all the repressive apparatuses of the state!
Without judging all the genocidal, to the Pinochet generals without being judged and punished, without disarming the murderous police, without arming the rebellious people, without going back through the turnstiles to sweep away Piñera, there will be neither freedom, nor copper, nor land, nor national independence.
The union bureaucracies of the Social Unity Table and the CUT keep the workers separate from the struggle to remove our fighters from the prisons of the infamous regime. They want us not to jump over the turnstiles again nor return to the shout, "Get out Piñera!"
The traitors of the CUT keep the workers of the whole Chile submitted to the most implacable super-exploitation. They support the looting by the transnational corporations and the slave-owning bosses. They don’t represent us!
OUT WITH THE TRAITORS AND SELLOUTS FROM THE MASS ORGANIZATIONS!
Enough already!
Let's vote to return to the Plaza de la Dignidad (Dignity Square). Base assemblies must be set up in every factory, mine, port, in every workplace, school and college. Let us vote for a great Congress of workers', students' and the poor Mapuche peasantry's organizations, and thus be able to reopen the path of the Revolutionary General Strike.
Only by kicking Piñera out of La Moneda and destroying the Pinochetist regime will we conquer the long-awaited freedom, justice and dignity.
