Capital does not know neither has borders. The exploited peoples also don’t have country or borders, so we cannot continuing fighting alone. Let’s unite our struggles from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego. For the right to land, for the non payment of the foreign debt; for the nationalization of the banks in order that there’s money to work and decent wages.
Enough of fighting divided, the workers federation of trade unions must call to unify the struggles and for a Congress of Latin American and South Africa. Alone, ever again!
The miners of Segovia, together with Sintraminercol, Asominercol, make this call to unite our struggles throughout the entire continent. Enough of tables of negotiations and sterile dialog. We produce the wealth so we decide.
We call on the comrades miners of Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Venezuela, as well as comrades of the Mining Union who led the Marikana struggle and broke away from Cosatu and is preparing a new anniversary for the Marikana Massacre, so that we unite our struggles against imperialism as a single fist, starting to endorse this call. Because we have a common enemy that has brought so much tragedy, starvation and death to our peoples.
Today, in Segovia and Remedios (Antioquia-Colombia), workers and the population are facing the cruel repression of the regime with its squadrons of ESMAD, which are led by the nine US military bases, where they have just ordered a detention measure against the leading board and where repression has already left a hundred detainees, tens of injured and a dead comrade. That is the peace of Santos-Uribe-Farc, the peace of the graves.
