SOS Colombia
They are killing us
Major day of struggle and solidarity with the workers and the Colombian people
“We are low-class, here there are only two classes, gentlemen, the lower class and the class of the bourgeoisie... if we are the fist, gentlemen, believe me we are going to give them a hard time”
I am one of the leaders of the First Line, where some mothers have also been added who are also living now what is happening, the terrorism or narcoterrorism of Uribe. This has been going on for a long time, children who have been made disappear, who have been outraged, who have been silenced and silenced as I am at this moment, because some people went to my house, pretending to be policemen and outraged my mother and my grandmother. Because of that I can't live with them, I can't be with them, I was on the street starving, it has been very bad for me. God is kind to everyone. Besides that, we have had to put up with many people who have lost their eyes. There is a lot of talk about expired cans of tear gas, about gases that we caught that they say they expired two years ago.
There are comrades who were once caught with Molotov and ended up set on fire, we have four underage female comrades raped by the ESMAD. We have two adults who were raped in Cali. Apart from that we have our first death, Lucas Villa. It was one of the most honorable and saddest funerals for me, because due to all of this, anger and sadness was unleashed in Pereira and made the quiet voices rise up. Voices like mine, which I have been silenced for a long time, like those of many comrades.
Here there is a fighting foot, here is what to do things with; here we are, young students who are aware of what needs to be replicated, we are aware of the thefts that have been made in Pereira such as the theft of more than 6000 million pesos (for a badly done work) that have been made 3 patches and have never been clarified after more than 15 years that work. Really we are not reprobated for throwing stones or to fuck a policeman, never, that is never our intention.
Our intention is to see the country change. It hurts me to have to see my friends taken away by the police, to see them beaten, mistreated, it hurts me to see them fainting, it hurts me to see more than 350 people missing since November 21. 21N and 28M, because they also know what is happening, and so many people have disappeared.
Now, the dead are coming down the Risaralda River. Some have been found and others have not. I do not know if someday I will be able to uncover my face as calmly as you do, because I really do not want you to see it. There is a person who has seen my sketch, who warned how I have tried to change. First of all I say, we are a lower class, here there are only two classes gentlemen, the lower class and the class of the bourgeois. We are the class of the repressed, of those who are here enduring everything, but we want a better future for the rest of the people.
We need you to help us. I am not talking about money, about things like that, I am talking about strategy, about where we can go. I know that all of us together will lead us to this: one finger is easy to break, two fingers are easy to break, but if we are the fist, gentlemen, believe me we are going to hit them hard. I speak for the dead, for the lost people, for the mothers who cry at home for their silenced children like me, for the mothers who are still looking for their children. I speak for each one of them and the young people on the First Lines, each one of them fighting for a better future in Colombia.
It's okay, gangs infiltrate among us, police infiltrate among us, we know that, we are aware of it, but we will continue to fight as long as we know where we are going, where we come from and what we want.
We are very conscious that we are low-class and that because we are the lower class we are going to be repressed. That is what we want to change, we do not want to continue like this time that they have been taking so much money from our mothers, from our grandparents. We want a better Colombia, just as they have done it in Chile, they have done it all.
And first of all we would like to thank you for the help that you have been giving us, some people from here who I do not want to say who they are, for always being there with us, for sending us the brochures in the shortest time possible so that we know what we want. Now we only ask for strategy, that we do everything for the same move from here in Pereira to Cali and Bogota.
Because we are all at one point and that we all give all of us to achieve it. I know we can do it.
We have already overthrown two congressmen, we have already overthrown two reforms, the health reform and the aforementioned tax reform.
Gentlemen, we can do a lot in this life, just never leave us alone. Thank you very much. Remember that we are one class, one struggle, one struggle and one oppressor government. God bless you and have a good afternoon.
