Letter from the socialists of WIL (Zimbabwe) to the Black Vests
To the Black Vests:
The revolutionary workers of Zimbabwe, from the WIL (Workers International League) with great joy have received your paper Le Papier #0. We are filled with emotion that your cry of “Fear Changed Sides!” has reached every immigrant in the world, as our black brothers in Minneapolis rise in the face of the brutal murder of George Floyd by the racist United States police.
Your battle cry and the call to organize must be heard by the exploited around the world. From the International Workers’ Organizer of which we are part, we are at the service of your struggle
We take your paper as our own because it expresses the suffering and the struggle of the most oppressed sectors of the world.
We have reproduced your paper and we will translate it into English, because we want it to reach all workers’ organizations and the immigrant movement on 5 continents.
We salute your struggle and we hope to strengthen revolutionary ties in this fight so that the entire working class and its most subjugated sectors have decent jobs, houses and living conditions.
Fear changed sides!
Justice for George Floyd! Enough black deaths! Black lives matter!
We are all Minneapolis! We are all Black Vests! The same class, the same fight over borders, races, languages and cultures! For internationalist unity and solidarity among the oppressed! The rebellion of the slaves is not a crime, it is justice!
