Next July 3rd it will be four years since the military coup of Al Sisi in Egypt. In this day, when they came on to power, the Egyptian armed forces unleashed a brutal massacre on the exploited that were fighting on the streets to recover their revolution.
In the revolution that broke out in 2011, the masses toppled Mubarak. However, the army was left intact. The "democrats" predicted that a democratic period was opened, even keeping this murderous army. The reactionary bourgeoisie of the Muslim Brotherhood came to power and when the masses rose again, these "democrats", with their islamophobia, called the secular generals of the army like Al Sisi for staging the coup... and what came later wasn't democracy but the worst bloody dictatorship and the re-installment of the terror regime, even worse than that of Mubarak.
This Egyptian army is a counterrevolutionary force led from Wall Street, funded by US imperialism with 13,000 million dollars a year and the commissions they gain for the trading ships that go through the Suez Canal. There was no way democracy could be gained by keeping that army, the main supporter of Zionism in Middle East, with Camp David pact.
This army was part of the murderous forces that sent imperialism to crush the revolutionary uprisings that shook the entire Maghreb and Middle East since 2011. It was part of the same counterrevolution in the region, which had a key point in the genocide of the Syrian masses made by the fascist Bashar and the butcher Putin, and it was also developed with Zionism putting in jail, killing and advancing in stealing the lands of the Palestinian people, with the massacre of Saudi Arabia in Yemen or with the partition of Libya taking it to Barbarism.
Al Sisi's dictatorship, under US command, has today 40,000 political prisoners. Among them, hundreds are convicted to the death penalty. They have re-imposed a bloody terror dictatorship.
While they attack the masses, they leave the "pharaoh" Mubarak to go free. He was acquitted of every charge for which he was prosecuted in 2011. We are seeing the comeback of Al Sisi - Mubarak terror regime, servant of USA, supporter of Zionism.
The "Organizer Committee of Rome" has issued a call to a demonstration in Italy against the murderous dictatorship of Al Sisi in Egypt for this July 3rd, in the anniversary of the military coup. From the Arabic paper The Truth of the Oppressed, we salute this struggle against these bloody generals servants of imperialism and we call to raise the battle cry "THE ENEMY IS AT HOME" as from the imperialist countries is where coup d'états are organized, such as that of Egypt.
On July 3rd, we will be fighting against Al Sisi's dictatorship, for the freedom of the more than 40,000 political prisoners, to revoke the death sentence and for the release of them all, and for the return of the war cry "THE PEOPLE WANT THE DOWNFALL OF THE REGIME!" that shook Egypt and the entire Northern Africa and the Middle East.
