The reformist 'exceptionally gifted' of the PTS of Argentina are not so bright
What’s the way out they propose for Brazil? A Constituent Assembly.
For Bolivia? A Constituent Assembly.
For Spain? A Constituent Assembly.
For France? A Constituent Assembly.
For China? A Constituent Assembly.
For Argentina? A Constituent Assembly.
They also raise the need of a Constituent Assembly for the European union.
What about USA? There’s no need of a Constituent Assembly, since the imperialist Democratic Party is there, whose candidates are women, youth and immigrants.
They cannot deny that PTS has a strategy organized around fighting for “real democracy” in a whole stage, in which democracy should be broaden to strengthen the working class and after that, advance to socialism.
Now it is clear the reason for the chattery about the convergence between Trotsky and Gramsci; to make their membership accept the classical theory of the Mensheviks.
Thus, as an immediate way out of the capitalist system collapse, they preach for a bourgeois parliamentary solution.
Are they anti-capitalists? Stop lying! They are just liberals.
Amazing! There’s not a single trace of Trotskyism in that party.
Is there any socialist remaining in there? How can they fight for a Single Assembly in France without crushing the police, of which 90 thousand men were deployed, occupying the entire country? A National Assembly without vanishing Macron, today’s Napoleon, to Corsica? Without arming the people? Without seizing the Bastille? Without a revolutionary insurrection to crush the officers caste of one of the most important military powers of the planet? Without setting up workers and soldiers councils? Do they raise a struggle for a “generous democracy” without fighting for the most minimum democratic measure, which is withdrawing the French imperialism from its colonies and from all the countries that invades and plunders such as Chad and Mali?
Is there any educated democrat in that party that has realized that in France a National Assembly with a single chamber but without conquering the independence of the colonies will be a bandit cave of plunderers of the subjugated people?
Has PTS told the truth to its followers? Has it said that in the Fifth Republic, the French boss union, MEDEF, which groups the banks and transnational companies, is the true cabinet and minister councils of Macron, who is, as president, the commander in chief of the Armed Forces, to which he leads to invasions without accounting to any Parliament or National Assembly, even if they are very unified?
Are they saying to topple Macron in a peaceful and electoral way? That would be a fancy way out for the bourgeoisie and its government, before the revolutionary crisis in the heights that would be opened if Macron falls as a result of a direct action of the struggle of the masses.
Melenchon and the French left are calling Macron to resign in order to prevent this. That’s why the reformist left calls to have snap elections… The PTS proposes the same thing, while leaving the police intact and one of the most powerful armies of the world with full firepower. These people speak the language of the leftist academics of the bourgeois universities and not the language of the revolutionaries in the class struggle arena.
These “socialists” have left being “socialists” for a long time now…
They haven’t raised the struggle for the Commune not even once, when the exploited are claiming for it in the streets of France. They don’t articulate their program around setting up the armed dual power organs of the exploited either.
For us, Marxists, the democratic slogans in our action program are episodic and circumstantial, except if they want to be used as a rope around the masses’ neck. As we saw, for PTS the democratic slogans are not only strategical but also universal.
They are liberal democrats…
We ask them to be consistent… if it’s not for the Commune, then at least fight to seize the Bastille.
The fights in the streets are already announcing bloody clashes… There are thousands of prisoners… To overthrow Macron means to raise the minimum democratic demand of the bourgeoisie in the 1793 revolution, which was not just a National Assembly, but also “one man, one gun” and “guillotine to behead the nobility”… This is the only way to be able to even get that Single Assembly for which the PTS claims.
This was done by the Bolsheviks when they took over the Winter Palace with the soviets and then gave the liberal democrats and the Mensheviks their Constituent Assembly, only to show that this assembly couldn’t provide neither bread nor land nor peace… It was useless…
The PTS also calls for the General Strike, but it doesn’t call to defeat the traitors of the Communist Party in the CGT and their henchmen from Force Ouvriere and other scabs from the French trade union federations. But what’s even worst, to conquer that Revolutionary General Strike and overthrowing Macron it is needed to set up the workers militia from the barricades and the committees of unions and students in struggle…
Macron has deployed 100 thousand cops in the streets… And the PTS speaks about a general strike without self-defense committees? Who is these people laughing at?
As Trotsky used to say for the revolutionary France of the ‘30s: “Only chatterboxes and miserable braggarts can play, under the current conditions, with the idea of a general strike and at the same time refuse to a serious work for the creation of the workers militia!”
As the Trotskyists also said in the ‘30s: “to broaden the democratic arena for the activity of the masses” today can only be achieved by crushing and disarming the police and fighting for the rank and file of the army and the privates, before the imperialist bastards fill the revolted France with blood.
The PTS is a current that has renegaded from revolutionary Marxism long time ago… They are not Commoners in Paris struggles. At least, they should act as Robespierre’s Jacobins and not miserable Girondins conciliators with the nobility…
They have taken from Stalinism the pseudo-theory of staged revolution and from social democracy the predisposition to democratically manage the business deals of the imperialist buccaneers… They are an appendix of the European New Left, with a few degrees more of temperature… They are the “anti-capitalists” from Syriza, Podemos, Corbyn, the “socialists” of the queen and full fans and sympathizers of the US Democratic Party.
Their deceptions and outrages falsifying Marxism have reached to an end. In Paris there’s a fight for the Commune! The Bastille is taken with a revolution of councils of workers, peasants and soldiers.
The fights in France are a link of a single struggle of the entire European working class, which is in conditions of uniting for their immediate demands, which are the same: for wages, against the increase in the cost of living, for work, education and decent pensions… The spark of France must set on fire the entire Europe so the imperialist Maastricht burns! The fight for the Commune and the most immediate demands of the masses unify the European working class, just as the struggle against the plundering of the colonies unifies the Yellow Vests with their class brothers and sisters from the semi-colonial world.
A Single Assembly as an immediate solution and a task for the workers of France separates them from their class brothers and sisters from the rest of Europe and subordinates them to their national executioners.
The European revolution will throw to the dustbin of history the falsifiers and traitors to the cause of socialism…
Fighting for the Commune of workers, peasants and the poor people is the only way forward to seize the Bastille and conquer the most immediate demands of the exploited.
In France, also two theories and two programs face each other in the barricades: those from the reformists that support this bankrupt capitalist system and those from the Fourth International that fights for the Commune as a link of the socialist revolution in Europe and internationally.
