The relatives of East bus line drivers thank the international solidarity
Gabriel Lázzaro, father of Emanuel, Noelia, his sister and Karina, his wife, thanked the international solidarity of different worker and student organizations from Brazil, Bolivia, Mexico, Spain and from different parts of the world that joined the struggle for the freedom of the four drivers of the East Bus Line.
Today the comrades from East Bus Line are placed under house arrest with work release situation.
Meanwhile, the final phase of the trial to Armoa, Vibares and Oñate took place in Santa Cruz. The sentence will be given on May 7th.
We cannot leave them alone!
To conquer the unconditional freedom of the drivers of East bus line, Daniel Ruiz, Jones Huala and all the political prisoners; to conquer the acquittal of Oñate, Vibares and Armoa and of the oil workers convicted in 2013 to jail for life and for a term, it is necessary to deepen the unity in Argentina and throughout the world.
Long live the international solidarity of the working class with the political prisoners and those persecuted for fighting!
One international class, one fight above borders!
We are here with Noelia, Emanuel Lázzaro´s sister, and with Karina, Emanuel´s wife, Karina. Today the comrades will be released. We will see then their judicial conditions. What are your initial conclusions and what can you say about it?
Karina: First of all, I would like to thank all of you who gave us your solidarity, internationally and also nationally, because in this moment it was very hard for us to continue with this. Thank you all. Thanks to those who supported us from Spain, Mexico, Bolivia, Brazil. I thank you very much, wholeheartedly, because without you and your support I think that it would not have been the same. So, thanks God, we got a conditional freedom, a house arrest. Thank you for all your support.
Noelia: We are grateful as a family, because the truth is that we never imagined to live a situation like this. We are thankful because we were not alone. There has always been someone raising our arms. Really, the needs were not only economical or emotional needs. We also needed someone to raise our arms. My sister-in-law went through a lot this last month. We thank God for you. Even if we cannot be with you, may our blessings reach you. God bless you. Thank you. May God be in all the things, because I know that God is debtor of nobody and today he showed us his mercy and faithfulness. Kisses to you all and thank you for your support.
Message from Gabriel Lázzaro, Emanuel’s father
I am Emanuel Lázzaro’s father and I want to thank Mexico, Spain, Bolivia and Brazil. Thanks to the siblings, to the comrades, for the effort done by each one of you… What you have done is priceless. There are no words. Because sincerely, without knowing you, you are there. It is priceless… How to say it? Thank you; thank you for your love; thank you for your efforts, thank you for your dedication. I see that there is a brotherhood between us, which really is not made by the government but by the people. This is priceless. Thank you; and thank you for this interview. Thanks on behalf of my son. May he sleep with his family and his daughter tonight. Because he didn’t do anything, and he is deprived of his freedom. I hope this will not happen again, someone detained for demanding honest work. May that people be heard so they can work in dignity.
