Solidarity of Lourdes Hidalgo, immigrant worker survivor of the massacre at the Luis Viale clandestine workshop (Argentina)
Hello, I am Lourdes, a survivor of the fire in the textile workshop on Luis Viale Street, in Buenos Aires City.
A few days before the 7th anniversary of the brutal life sentence on the oil workers of Las Heras, I want to tell them that they are not alone. Their fight is my fight. And from here, with all my heart, I send my support and solidarity to them and their families, which to this day are fighting for their complete freedom.
The sentence to the oil workers is an attack on all the workers who have been fighting or want to go out and fight for our rights. And we cannot allow that.
That justice that keeps them convicted is the same that keeps the Luis Viale massacre unpunished, who never charged or persecuted the murderous bosses of my fellow workers and their children, Geiler and Fischberg, who are the owners of Luis Viale Street's former textile workshop.
That is why I call on all labor, union, social and political organizations to surround our comrades from Las Heras with solidarity and support. They cannot be left alone.
Comrades, on this December 12, the International Day of the Persecuted Worker, we fight together for the acquittal of Las Heras oil workers.
Unconditional release of all workers persecuted or imprisoned for fighting!
Justice for the massacre of the textile workshop on Luis Viale street!
No justice, no peace!
