Solidarity from Pablo Pimentel, member of the
Permanent Assembly for Human Rights (APDH)
Good afternoon, my name is Pablo Pimentel, from Buenos Aires, La Matanza, from the Permanent Assembly for Human Rights (APDH). We want to salute all the workers who suffered that life sentence 7 years ago for fighting, for claiming their rights and being involved in a totally unfair maneuver, being accused of something they did not commit.
In an assembly that was held in SUTEBA (teachers union) with the presence of one of them(I do not remember the name of the comrade who came to ask for solidarity) we promised to present an Amicus Curae and that is what we did, to the point that in the year 2017 or 2016, I do not remember well, we traveled to Santa Cruz to meet the members of the Supreme Court of Justice of the province. Together with Nora Cortiñas and the lawyer for the APDH, we conveyed the concern we had because this life sentence still persists, which is on hold.
So, this is our solidarity and our commitment to continue being with them until they are all completely acquitted.
A big hug to you and your families.
