A puppet Government supported by the fascist gangs of Camacho, the police and the bayonets of the Banzerist´s Generals comes to power

The COB leadership gave it time to do it ... Down with the collaborationist bureaucracy!

Today, the bourgeoisie and imperialism tried to close the open crisis after the coup. This way, the fascist gangs of the Media Luna, the murderous police and the "milicos" surrounded Murillo Square in La Paz in order to allow the Legislative Assembly sessioning and perform a “constitutional succession”. The session was a real circus and took place with some parliamentarians without even having quorum. Finally the presidency was given to Jeanine Áñez, the vice president of the Senate, member of the Democratic Party of the Media Luna, recognized later by the Constitutional Court.

The masses responded. The indomitable Alto has rebelled. Thousands of poor workers and peasants concentrated in the Ceja de El Alto to march to La Paz towards Murillo Square. There they clashed in hard clashes with the fascist gangs and the police. The anger exploded in the fists of the exploited when they named a representative of the fascist Media Luna as president.

The exploited of El Alto have taken the streets, have set up pickets in each district, have burned traffic police stations. Neighborhood Committees are mobilized. Yesterday from one of the pickets of the 8th district (where the gas valves of the Senkata plant are located), an open call was made to the soldiers of the rank and files to go over their parents’, uncles’ and brothers’ side with the weapons into their hands..
Today, in the Chapare region in Cochabamba Department, the masses took the Carrasco field and Hydrocarbon Pumping and Compression Stations.

During these 14 years the COB bureaucracy and the FSTMB subjected the working class to Morales. They tied its luck to that anti-worker Government that guaranteed the plundering of the transnationals and launched the worst attacks of hunger and misery against the workers and the people. After the coup, Morales surrendered and like a coward he fled to Mexico, while the leadership of the COB, the FSTMB and Huanuni´s Union did not call for any action against the coup. On the contrary, the executive of the COB, Juan Carlos Huarachi announced that they gave "24 hours to political and civic leaders" to "restore constitutional order and social peace" and if not they would go on an indefinite strike. This submission and cowardice gave the bourgeois a valuable time to meet the Legislative Assembly and name the new president. By the other hand, the Huanuni Union, in a press conference, announced the miners were in a "state of emergency" and for "the pacification" of the country.

That is, while the workers and the poor peasants of El Alto faced the fascist gangs of the Media Luna and the police, guarded by the “milicos” who took the streets imposing the state of siege, the leaders of the working class did not call to workers and miners to intervene in this fight. If the miners of Huanuni, Colquiri and Potosí entered La Paz with the dynamite in their hands surrounding Murillo Square, unifying with the revolutionary Alto, along with the poor peasants and the whole of the exploited, they would crush the coup and define the situation in favor of the exploited. The rank and file soldiers would end up going to the side of the masses and the Army would split. The only obstacle that prevented this happened was the leadership the COB.

Down with the collaborationist bureaucracy!
For an independent and revolutionary COB!

From the uprising in El Alto, which in 2005 was declared the "General Headquarters of the Bolivian Revolution", let's call immediately for:

Workers Congress of the COB, with base delegates 1 each 100 workers and poor peasants throughout all Bolivia!
We must recover the COR, the COD and the COB!
 To have the gas, the minerals and the land for the poor peasant, let’s expropriate without compensation and under workers' control the landowners, tthe Media Luna oligarchy and all the capitalists!
Worker and peasant militia!
For rank and files soldiers Committees!
Down with Añez and the military dictatorship of the OAS and Trump!
For a provisional Government of the COB, El Alto in struggle and the poor peasants!
