We Colombian workers and poor peasants have been suffering from a brutal offensive by the capitalists with their grabbing of our territories, the selective massacre of both social and peasant leaders at the hands of the murderous army, paramilitary gangs and the police. While this is happening, the Government prepares to impose an entrenchment plan through a labor and pension reforms project to increase labor precariousness and rob us of our pensions.
The CUT, a worker organization, together with CGT and CTC, the other trade unions; pensioners, teachers and oil workers associations, along with more than 40 union organizations and 100 social organizations, have decided to go out fighting , calling for a strike to be held on next November 21, against a pension and labor reform that seeks to impose hourly work, a differential wage by regions, elimination of overtime, NON payment of Sundays and holidays, NO compensation for dismissal, plus an increase of pension minimum age, cuts in the value of pensions, the elimination of Colpensiones (State pensions management fund) passing this fabulous booty to the bankers. Budget cuts in health and education, as well as imposing new taxes for the people, and exempting businessmen and bankers from tax burdens. A real theft and an increase in the cost of living for workers 'and peasants' homesteads.
That is why this next November 21 we will win the streets. To gain decent wages and pensions; education, health, transportation, housing, and ending slavery and labor flexibility; to reduce working hours, to get the land for the poor peasant, mostly of indigenous origin, and all exploited´s demands, we must face this infamous regime, until we defeat it.
Let's set up a Coordinating Committee of the sectors in struggle to prepare the Revolutionary General Strike against the attack of the 9 US military bases led by the Pentagon generals! We have to fight like in Ecuador and Chile! Open the road to the alliance of workers and peasants! The leaders of the Trade Union Centrals, the Peasant Organizations and the Student Movement must break their policy of subordination to our executioners, the bosses' politicians, and put themselves at the head of unifying the ranks of the Colombian exploited!
New massacres are reported in Tacueyó, department of Cauca, when members of the Indigenous Guard, whhich had control in the area, were attacked, and 5 peasants of aboriginal ethnicity were murdered, and several of their comrades wounded in a horrific massacre, plus other 13 people that were killed in only one week.
The criminal government of Duque, to intimidate those who fight and show results in the war reports, has renewed the Uribist policy of "false positives." In this way the army carries out bombings in rural areas killing young people and children, then accusing them of being part of the “guerrilla” brigades.
We cannot allow them to continue killing us, we must already organize the Self-Defense Committees and the Workers' Militia. The weapons the Stalinism snatched us and handed to the army must return to the Communities.
For years, an offensive against the peasant movement that fights for land and against the stripping by the looting policy of Transnational Corporations and the regime has been hardened through the imposition of an agrarian counter-reform that was materialized with bloodshed and fire, to benefit the landowners and the capitalists, with the result of more than four and a half million of displaced peasants and six million hectares that went to the hands of the big companies of palm-oil, banana, and the oil, mining transnationals and the bankers. This defeat is imposed by the bourgeoisie at the service of imperialism using the army and the police, in addition to a giant paramilitary army (the United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia-AUC), created by Álvaro Uribe Vélez during his governments.
The defeat and betrayal by capitulation of the leadership of the FARC-EP (CRAF-PA) guerrillas, in the Havana Agreements covered up and sponsored by the restorationist bureaucracy of the Cuban CP, fhat forced the resistance to hand over the weapons and territories, has had as an immediate consequence the occupation of these regions by paramilitary armies, mercenaries and armed guards at the service of companies that exploit natural resources, drug cartels and "illegal" mining.
Before the offensive of imperialism, IMF, Transnationals and Bankers, the indomitable Peasants' Resistance, with decades of tradition, faces them directly for defending their land, the water and natural resources with mobilizations like the ones held in Bucaramanga, Santander in defense of water and the Páramo of Santurbán in the Department of Tolima against the Anglo Gold Ashanti mining Company that pretends to do open-pit mining in the area of Cajamarca.
The students are already in the streets, taking part of very hard struggles in defense of education, facing the fierce repression of the ESMAD (Anti-Unrest Special Squad) and the police, like it is happening with the massprotests in Costa Rica, Panama and the revolutionary fight led by the students in Chile and Ecuador.
Popular uprisings as in Haiti, Puerto Rico and the thousands of rebellious workers and peasants in Honduras, Mexican maquilas are going throughout all the Americas and in the same USA. Also there, the true allies of the Latin American working class like the workers of General Motors, the miners of Texas and Arizona and the American teachers are standing up.
To face the plan of those above who come all the way for us, we must go all the way for them. The Chilean and Ecuadorian revolutionary masses are showing the way! We must coordinate the sectors that are fighting in order to prepare the Revolutionary General Strike to fight as in Chile and Ecuador. For a Commitee of Workers', Poor Peasants, Communities and Negritudes, Combative Students and all sectors in struggle, with delegates elected one in every hundred per factory, per community, per faculty in each city and region. To stop them from kilingl us, we must urgently set up the self-defense guards: Workers' and Peasants' Militia to crush the fascist “paracos” (paramilitary) and the repressive forces of the murderous State.
To conquer the land for the peasants, so as the exploiters and their agents do not rob us of the water and natural resources, we must expropriate the imperialist transnationals.
Expropriation of the Transnationals and all banks!
Expropriation without compensation of all mining and oil concessions and for the protection of the water and paramos (highlands)!
We must break with the servile native bourgeoisies, junior partners of imperialism in Latin America!
Out with the US military bases in Colombia and Latin America!
FOR THE WORKING CLASS TO LIVE THE IMPERIALIST CAPITALIST SYSTEM MUST DIE!
Colombia will be Socialist, or a Wall Street colony!
