Lebanon - August 9th, 2020
After the explosion, the unprecedented sufferings of the masses multiplied, and they go on taking to the streets…
An insurrectionary process against the imperialist bankers and their local managers that came from all the bourgeois factions that have looted the country
Down with the government!
May the regime of national unity of the millionaire bourgeois Hezbollah, the Maronite and Sunni
bourgeoisie fall!
It emerged from the 1989 pact under the auspices of the UN, imperialism and Zionism
Nationalization of all banks without compensation and under workers' control!
Since the explosion in the port on 8/4, which left 158 dead, more than 6 thousand injured, many missing and the destruction of the homes of 300,000 Lebanese, the masses continue in the streets, holding the government responsible for the explosion and for all their hardships. The banks association, the ministries of Economy, Foreign Affairs and Social Welfare were taken over. Six MPs and two ministers have resigned so far.
The masses of Lebanon are attacking the citadel of power: they take over the banks that expropriated the savings, and the Ministries of Economy and Social Welfare that starved the people and left millions of exploited without electricity and water.
Outside, in the squares, hanging by the neck, the figures of the millionaire politicians who expropriated and stole the jobs and even the lives of the oppressed in Lebanon appear. There, for now symbolically, hang the figures of President Aoun, his partner Nasrallah from Hezbollah, Hariri, Diab and all the politicians of the Maronite, Shiite and Sunni bourgeoisie, the exploiters and robbers of the Lebanese nation, associated with imperialism.
The masses have taken the solution to the crisis in their hands, starting with destroying the institutions of the infamous regime of the UN pact imposed in the late 1980s, based on the 1982 massacre of 4,000 Palestinians in the refugee camps of Sabra and Shatila at the hands of the Lebanese Phalanx, on behalf of Zionism and with the Syrian army of Hafez Al Assad (which at that time was occupying that area) opening the doors for them. This was the pact supervised by the US, France and Russia, which guaranteed the survival of a regime of disgrace and looting against the workers and the people.
After the defeat imposed by the exploited from southern Lebanon to the Zionist army in 2006, it was necessary to contain this revolutionary struggle and prevent the Palestinian masses from uprising, so Hezbollah, was given the task of riding above the mobilizations and revolts there, and received the prize of managing fundamental businesses of the Lebanese state: construction, electricity, water, communications. A new millionaire bourgeoisie rose to power along with the rest of the pro-imperialist bourgeois fractions. It was this anti-worker regime and government that made life impossible for the exploited in Lebanon.
The exploited have discovered this and that is why today they rise up against them. They distinguish who their enemies are. They have taken everything from the masses and now they go all the way for them. The masses have understood that in order to live it is necessary to demolish all the institutions of the infamous regime and that it must fall.
An insurrectionary process is underway, which seeks to defeat the government.
Hezbollah's cynical bourgeoisie, as well as its partners from the Maronite and Sunni bourgeoisie, have lost mass social base. The government has been left hanging by a thread. That regime of national unity must be overthrown!
The revolutionary mass uprising is at a critical and key point.
It is necessary to disarm the oppressors and arm the people!
It is necessary to take over the police stations!
We must disarm the Lebanese army, a gathering of the most reactionary of the oligarchy of that country!
A strong militia of the workers, the poor peasants and the starving people must be raised!
The insurrectionary masses have the possibility of putting under their control the numerous and powerful weapons that Hezbollah has. This cynical Shiite bourgeoisie uses it to contain the Palestinian people in Lebanon, to massacre the Syrian masses together with the fascist al-Assad and to support this Lebanese government with a millionaire corrupt officer caste associated with the richest banks and businesses of that nation.
Macron arrives in Beirut posing as a friend of the people; however, French imperialism is the father of the regime of opprobrium in Lebanon and imposed it together with the UN in the 1980s.
The huge explosion that destroyed half of Beirut was accompanied by the swift arrival of Macron, head of France's imperialist pirates, as spokesman for that den of bandits of the UN. They promise "aid"... but they are who sustained the successive Lebanese governments the last 30 years. They are who imposed the current regime of national unity with the UN pact of '89. They are the parents of such a monster that the current regime is. They are the leaders of this band of corrupt people.
They, the imperialist butchers, have supported Al-Assad to slaughter the Syrian revolution. They invaded Iraq and Afghanistan... They are the real warlords and the ones responsible for "such an accident" in Beirut.
They are used to it and they know how to do it: with the Twin Towers they gave a great lesson in death and destruction. Actually, supported by the explosion in Beirut, Macron has demanded from the bosses' politicians a deal to put Lebanon under direct control of the UN, as a protectorate. A precise blow in a speed race so that this government and regime remain under the direct control of imperialism and are not overthrown by a workers and popular revolution. Therefore they demand the disarmament of Hezbollah, the introduction of UN troops and their direct control of the army.
As the masses demand in their struggle: "Out with the corrupt government!" "'All' means all of them!" "Let the regime fall!" "Revolution!"
But while some of their henchmen in Lebanon organize a petition to put the nation under UN mandate and others raise "snap elections!" as attempts to contain and deflect the revolutionary struggle, the masses want the regime to fall and are overthrowing it with their revolutionary combat in the streets.
Lebanon is marching into a revolutionary political crisis on the top.
We must arm the masses and disarm the bourgeoisie!
The banks must be expropriated and nationalized without compensation, under the control of the workers! For a single State Bank!
We must set up Supply Committees and the workers and the poor people control of all service companies to guarantee the people light, water and electricity, recovering the wealth and goods that the ruling elites stole from the nation!
We must quickly disown any external debt with the IMF and the bankers!
The IMF and imperialism austerity plans that the government and the central bank applied against the masses, are what imposed these conditions of misery on them. Get the hands of imperialism out of Lebanon! Out with all your corrupt local managers in the government of "national unity" and the pact between the Sunni, Maronite and Hezbollah bourgeois! Lebanese National Assembly, elected by one for every 10,000 inhabitants!
Mass action cannot be stopped.
The disarmament of the oppressors, the generalized arming of the masses, the expulsion of imperialism, the expropriation of the expropriators of the people and the overthrow of the entire regime and government are the tasks of the moment.
Only a provisional revolutionary government of the workers and all the impoverished popular sectors can guarantee the resolution of these elementary tasks that the masses need to get out of the brutal crisis imposed by the government and the regime, under the mantle of the Constitution and the pact of the '80s, guaranteed by the UN and the imperialist powers.
Across the Middle East, the same fight against imperialism and its lackeys
After using the Shiite bourgeoisies of Iran, Lebanon and their partner the fascist al-Assad as “squeezed lemons” to crush and enslave their own peoples, with genocides such as the Syrian one or with the most ferocious attacks against workers and exploited such as Hezbollah does in Lebanon and the clerics in Iran, now imperialism seeks to get rid of them, at a time when they are hated and confronted by the masses, before they overthrow them with the opening of new revolutionary processes, as which has already burst in Lebanon and threatens to spread into a true proletarian insurrection in Iran.
The traitors of Stalinism and the renegades of Trotskyism seek to align the forces of the world working class with the Shiite bourgeoisie, one of the executioners and murderers of the masses of the Middle East and guardians of the imperialist oil companies together with their partners of the Sunni bourgeoisie and other ruling elites, financed by the "7 sisters". The pretext is that they are "anti-imperialists" who are being "attacked by imperialism"... But nothing is further from the truth. In 2011, they were “brave” to send troops to Syria that to this day continue to massacre the masses, but cowards before Zionism and imperialism, to which they did not shoot a single shot. They are agents of imperialism, who starve and crush the exploited in the Middle East, and now they are falling from grace. The above mentioned treacherous leaderships of the world working class want to lead it to support the executioners that the workers of the Middle East are facing today in their struggle.
The place of the workers and the oppressed of the world is with the forces of the revolution and not with their executioners!
In the Middle East the counterrevolution hits as in bloody Syria, Yemen and Palestine occupied by Zionism, and the revolution also hits there as in Lebanon, Iran and insurrectionary Iraq.
The Syrian resistance has not given up and despite the pacts and agreements of traitorous Stalinists and other leftist lackeys of imperialism; the masses of Algeria, Sudan and Tunisia have not been defeated and threaten to return to new revolutionary actions.
Throughout the Maghreb and the Middle East, it is about the same combat facing the same enemy: imperialism that plunders the nations, leaving the exploited in the most extreme misery, and its local managers. The fight against the government of national unity of the Sunni, Shiite and Maronite bourgeoisie and the imperialist bankers in Lebanon is the same as that of the unemployed in Tunisia attacking the gas wells of the imperialist oil companies, the workers and the Iraqi people against those transnationals and their local puppets, that the Iranian workers against the ayatollahs and the Palestinian people for the destruction of the fascist Zionist state of Israel and to regain their land.
