Syria - May 5th, 2020 The following is a call from the Syrian resistance that was written when the masses in Idlib were blocking the M4 highway, preventing the Sochi pact of partition of Syria from being applied. This blockade was brutally suppressed by Turkey and over that basis, the bourgeois generals of the NSA (former FSA) and HTS (former Al Nusra) took care of evicting it completely afterwards. Today, the Turkish and Russian troops patrol the highway together, but also today thousands of exploited march even in the areas under the control of the fascist Al Assad. To have bread, work, land, freedom and a decent life… In worker’s month, let’s unite more than ever internationally to defeat those who starve and massacre us We have heard the news that a judge in Germany has set out to try a general of the Basharist regime as a war criminal. It was time for someone to think of us! Our revolution began more than 9 years ago and what we started with enormous enthusiasm and joy suffers with the counter-revolution and the massacres, leaving tears, blood and death. Even so, our hope is not placed in the hands of this judge or bourgeois justice, but in the actions and struggles that we carry out day by day. It is in the thousand and one ways that we seek to resist hunger with our devalued currencies and a dollar going through the roof, with generalized shortages, with 95% of workers suffering unemployment and those who get jobs doing so for wages of U$ 2 per day. Since the resistance in Idlib, about a month and a half ago, we have been blocking one of the main roads in the country, the M4 road, which runs from the west to the east of the country. This is where, as agreed at the Sochi Putin and Erdogan Conference under Trump’s approval, patrols of Turkish and Russian convoys had to pass. But we have prevented it. Only us, as there was neither HTS (ex Al Nusra) nor the Syrian National Army (SNA, ex FSA) to support us. The workers of Syria, we only suffer misery, but we are convinced, above all things, that the revolution will live as long as we continue fighting. That is why we stand firm in the middle of that road to the cry of: Out with the invading troops! But instead of leaving they came all the way. Turkey beat us and repressed us with its security forces, they gased and live-shot us. They even killed 4 of our brothers. But we still resist, alone, holding and supporting each other. SNA generals and officers only spread propaganda for Turkey. Meanwhile, on the other hand, HTS pretends to be on our side but only seeks to join our fight, as it has always done, to end up negotiating its share at the Sochi Conferences. It causes us anger and impotence that having had so many weapons from the thousands of battles in which we defeated the dog Bashar and his mercenaries, today we have to resist in the worst conditions stripped of what little we had with millions of our people piled up and dying of cold and hunger in the refugee camps, just because that weaponry was taken along with the food by HTS and the NSA, and hidden Allah knows where. It generates hatred, having had the possibility of controlling both our country’s wealth and oil wells, such as, for example, in Raqqa and Deir Ezzor. On the contrary, today we are starving because US imperialism and its invading troops arrived to appropriate these riches in the eyes of the world reformist left that was observing from afar, but without remaining silent, shouted instead: The Enemy is ISIS! Thus, it legitimized the role of the US army in our soil. Today we can see how, even in its worst crisis, US imperialism very well orders its dogs like Putin or the Iranian ayatollahs to do the dirty work here, massacring our people. Taking advantage of that crisis, Germany has entered the scene and made its move, trying to win our hearts and our trust, bringing this general to trial. But THERE HAVE BEEN THOUSANDS OF BASHARIST ARMY OFFICERS KILLING US AND TORTURING US TO DEATH. We cannot allow ourselves, as Germany sponsors its judges, to be deceived and reconcile ourselves to judging one or two officers in order to save the entire lot of genocide actors. WE DEMAND JUDGMENT AND PUNISHMENT FOR ALL MURDERERS AND TORTURERS! THEY ARE ALL GUILTY UNTIL THEY DEMONSTRATE THEIR INNOCENCE: Bashar, Putin, Trump, the Ayatollahs and Hezbollah who massacred us here and now go on massacring in Iran and Lebanon... Therefore, we know that true justice will come when those who judge and punish all the murderers of the Syrian people are courts made up of our representatives. Those who represent the massacred, the tortured and all the refugees. Furthermore, if, after 9 years, we must put our trust in something else that is not our own strength or that of the peoples who suffer like us, then it has to be serious. Let the judge call an exemplary trial like the one in Nuremberg against the Nazis. For our part, we prefer to continue betting on our Iraqi brothers and sisters, who have been fighting for years against the protectorate regime and the invading troops. We are betting on our comrades in Lebanon, who are one step away from moving on to the next stage of their revolution in which they must, as we did, arm themselves to get bread and to survive such an attack by imperialism and the government over them. We rely on the millions of brothers and sisters who have been crowded into refugee camps on the borders. In the same way that we always trust the forces of the Palestinian intifada against the Zionist invader. We prefer not to give up on our dream of once again tearing down the borders that separate us from a promising future in Europe, uniting with our brothers and sisters from Europe to be able to hit imperialism with a single fist, as the Greek youth and our brothers and sisters of the Citês de France have been doing. One thing that was more than clear to us in these 9 years of revolution: we are only one link in a single chain of revolutions, one of the strongest, but, nonetheless, one more link that should serve as a pivot to extend this chain to the entire planet. For the working class and the exploited of the world to live... Imperialism and its murderous and people-starver regimes and governments must die!
