277 OF HUNGER STRIKE: THE HEROIC RESISTANCE OF THE PALESTINE PRISONERS IN THE JAILS OF ZIONISM

In his first interview Samer said: “It is our duty as freedom fighter, to free all our Palestinian political prisoenrs”.

He denounced the Israelí forces broke into the house of his family before the freedom and the family was prevented to celebrate and they were ordered to put down the banners at the reception in his house.

In 2002 he was arrested because he was involved in “terrorist” activities. He was set free as part of an agreement held in Egypt between Hamas and the Israeli authorities in 2011 in the prisoenrs exchange.

In July 2012 he was arrested again because according to a detention law propeled by Israeli, it can arrest anyone for six months, and renew the sentece whoever Israeli thinks it is a danger against the Israeli national security.

In April, 2013 the hunger strike ended with 277 days which continued with a hunger strike of 2000 Palestinian prisoners who were injailed by this law. After they were promised to free them, the strikes continued because the Israeli authorities renew the sentence.

SPEECH OF SAMER AISAWI WHEN HE GOT OUT OF SHAATA PRISON

"This freedom is for our dignity. It is not just about my freedom. I want them to know, that we keep fighting with the comitment to realese all our revolutioanry prisoners. We promise them that we will not calm down or get tired until we release them all.

And we tell all the leaders of the Palestinian revolution that it is a shame to be proud of having prisoners in the jails with sentence of 30, 35, 25 years of jail (shown as trophy by the political organizations -Translation Note). This is a shame and it is seen in each front head of the leaders of the revolution. You send those youths so that they could defend the children of our people and land, today you are forced to free the revolutionary prisoners.

And we said sincerely, we do not want to wait the sentece to end, we want to set the prisoenrs free now. And the prisoners are released as a result of the kidnapping (of the occupied Zionist soldiers -Translation Note) and exchange them (with the revolutionary prisoners -T.N). Nothing comes without fighting. I consider correct the efforts to free the old prisoners, but we do not make difference between old prisoners to new ones. We make no difference between the one who is in jailed for 30 years to the ones that spent 14 years or one. Prisoners within jails is a shame, and it is a shame that they keep there and nobody is doing anything.”

“When the hunger strike started, the strike did not come to free Samer Issawi, but because the occupation attemept to falsify the agreement (Zionism want to take him out of Jerusalem T N) that was what pushed us to go on strike. We do not want the sentence to accomplish; we want to free the prisoners now.”

As he said: “The fight is for the unconditional freedom of the Palestinian children and youth who are in jailed as hostages of the occupation Zionist troops of the Palestinian nation”.

We send greetings to Samer`s family. His courage and strength are an example for millions of workers and exploited in the world. We salute the tough and heroic fight of the workers, youth and the Palestinian people. They know that to recover Samer is just a small step forward to the fight for the freedom to the Palestinian nation from the occupation which is suffered by the Zionsit Fascit and countrerevolutionary state of Israel.

We let you know that our hearts is with tours. We celebrate and cry with you. We consider you as part of our own family. They are flesh and blood of our very same fight.

We follow day by day with anxious and anguish. We saw how the Zionist invader who postponed the freedom of the heroe of the tormented Palestine. We feel as in our own flesh, how the invader threat the father of Samer. We felt how the invader wanted to put down our banners.

The fight has not finished. The socialslit revolutionaries shared with our Palestinian brothers a same fight agaisnt the Aparheid imposed by Zionism, where they fenced the Palestinian people, from there they get the slave workers while they stole from there their land with their occupation troops.
We see in the streets of East Jerusalem celebrate the workers, youth and the Palestinian people.

Samer’s freedom strengthens the struggle to regain the freedom of all political prisoners in the world.

Las Heras oil workers, some of them condemned to life sentence will be excited and happy with the freedom of Samer, because they also know that they and the Palestinian people will take them as a banner to fight for their unconditional release, against fascist and oppressive courts as the ones which had arrested Samer and condemn the Palestinian people.
These courts have the same master: the big oil companies and transnational imperialist companies who support all repressive governments to plunder our people and exploit workers.
On December 12 we could come together and know each other, it was easy because we are part of the same struggle.

Workers of the world celebrated this victory. Now it is needed to release all Palestinian political prisoners in the grip of Zionism. 5,000 of us remain trapped in the filthy jails of the occupier and its imperialist boss. We know that the brave statements of Samer and his family, they may all go to prison, when they demand the release of all Palestinian prisoners.
Their courage and bravery with his people is an example of struggle for the anti-imperialist youth and workers of the world. Never has freedom a fighter who kneels down his tormentor and oppressor.

Our ultimate victory is near when all Palestinian prisoners are released. When we destroy the Zionist state and liberate our land, our historic Palestine.
