Dear comrades of the FLTI-CI,
We want you to receive our warmest, enthusiastic support to Peruvian comrades, especially comrades who have been struggling to organize the health workers' fight in its forefront. We are hugging you all as revolutionaries who are fighting together with you.
We have translated your documents about the fight in Peru, and have kept our militants informed of it. We are planning to publish your letter in our weekly. Our comrades, especially comrades who work and fight in the medical services, are now feeling that your fight is their own fight.
From your documents, we have learned that Peruvian comrades are fighting within trade unions to organize the left-wing fraction and on this basis to lead struggles for workers' demands in opposition to the CP-led, reformists-led and social democrats-led cadres who seize the majority of the trade union leadership. We are imagining that, while promoting such militant struggles, they are also developing various activities to strengthen revolutionary workers and rallying them organizationally. We are also imagining that your members are fighting this struggle from within and outside the trade unions. We believe that we can intuitively see your fight because our comrades on the medical workers front are faced with similar attacks (imposing worse labour conditions etc) and have been waging similar activities and bitter struggles in opposition to social democratic and Stalinist leaders. We are anxious to receive your documents on your balance sheet and lessons concerning the fight.
We are pleased to hear that the Las Heras meeting on October 12th was a great success. Of course, we know, together with you, that struggles from now towards December 12th will be decisive.
Let us fight together internationally.
