The Bolivarian regime: a ferocious bonapartism supported by the bayonets of the generals
In Venezuela, the collapse of the nation and clashes between the classes ended with the last vestiges of "democracy" in the regime of the Bolivarian Constitution.
Maduro and the generals, terrified by the ghost of Caracazo, imposed a police bonapartism against the masses. The disputes between the upper ranks finished the sweeping away of the slightest semblance of "democracy."
The National Assembly of MUD and the Bolivarian Constituent Assembly, the tribunals, the general prosecutors, etc….all of them are puppet institutions, which are totally empty. Nothing is decided there. Everything is discussed and resolved in the General Staff of the Bolivarian armed forced and in the US Embassy.
Venezuela has only two ways out:either imperialism imposes colonialism, supported by the bayonets of the Bolivarian Armed Forces against the masses, or the working class, leading the exploited masses, crushes the generals, defeats the bourgeoisie and seizes power. There is no place for any bourgeois democracy. The two options are a ferocious bonapartism or the establishment of a workers' and popular revolutionary government.
In order to keep the Venezuelan oil, US imperialism must overcome the resistance of the masses, who were subjected to conditions of unprecedented famine and barbarism of, but not yet defeated.
That is why it needs to establish the most reactionary and bonapartist regime to crush the masses, either with the Bolivarians or the MUD. This regime will be a thousand times more brutal than that of Maduro and officers’ caste, because it will be under direct command of the White House and the Pentagon military bases in Colombia.
To attempt to democratize the Bolivarian Republic with a Constituent Assembly without destroying the official caste, like the renegades of Marxism of the type PSL (UIT), LIT or PTS of Argentina do, is a reactionary utopia.
The only possibility of conquering an integral and effective democracy for the exploited masses is to disarm the murderous generals and to demolish all the institutions of the reactionary Bonapartist regime of the Bolivarian Constitution. Only the victory of the socialist revolution and the establishment of a Provisional Government of workers and peasants can guarantee the rupture with imperialism and the liquidation of the great property of the land at the hands of the oligarchy, the great democratic tasks in every oppressed nation. Without it, there will never be any democracy for the people.
This government is even the only one that can guarantee a truly free and sovereign Constituent Assembly, because it will not be under the tutelage of the imperialist banking and the generals of the Armed Forces.
