China - February 1st, 2019 Jasic workers support group Graphic work for the Chinese New Year: celebrates the spring festival with colleagues in prison: The year of the pig of the traditional Chinese calendar is approaching. The Chinese are preparing for the most important festival, namely the Spring Festival. As a tradition, people must return to their homes and meet with the whole family on this day. However, we have more than 50 comrades from the Jasic factory and the Jasic Workers Support Group who suffer life in prison. And throughout China, countless workers are suffering separation from their families. We long for our imprisoned comrades to return home without accusation, not to remain in the cold prison on this day of celebration. The comrades who are still in prison or detained are: Jasic workers and other factories Yu Juncong, Mi Jiuping, Liu Penghua, Li Zhan, Lan Zhiwei, Kailong Yu, Zhang Zeying, Li Yuanzhu; Youth on the left Yue Xin, Gu Jiayue, Shen Mengyu, Zheng Yongming, Xu Zhongliang, Zhang Shengye, Zong Yang; PKU student Zhan Zhenzhen, student of RUC Yan Zihao; PKU campus workers Cao Jian, Ma Zisheng, RUC campus worker Wang Jiao; NGO staff He Pengchao, Wang Xiangyi; Labour rights activists Fu Changguo, Yang Zhengjun; and others. Reading this long list, we cannot help but feel the hostility and fury against the force of evil. It imprisoned so many decent and progressive youth, and forcibly separated them from their family and working class with iron bars. Each name on this list makes us feel hope and suffering. They encourage us, because everyone on the list is a living, decent, and selfless human being who believes and practices Marxism-Leninism-Maoism. We feel suffering, because these good young people have been violently arrested and imprisoned in secret for half a year, and cannot return home and their families in the Spring Festival. However, workers from all lands, whether in prison or in the industrial zone, belong to the same class family of the proletariat. We are united in the common race for the emancipation of the proletariat. Therefore, for the next Spring Festival, we, as a Jasic Worker Support Group, follow the initiative of accompanying our imprisoned comrades with our voices, words and paintings. 1, it is recommended that we write something on a card and take a picture.
