Venezuela and the elections: a scam of the Bolivarian "revolution"

With 56% abstention, the bolibourgeoisie loses its social base among the exploited masses...

On May 20th, Maduro and the bolibourgeoisie, through the call made by the fake Constituent Assemblie, carried out the electoral farce with which they seek to keep in charge of the government, servant of imperialism, superbanks, like Goldman Sachs, and transnationals like oil companies Chevron. and Conoco Philips, and of the Golden Reserve, looter of the Orinoco Mining Arc.

The National Electoral Board issued its newsletter with the results of this farce: 46% participation. The NEB omitted to mention the 54% abstention, which is high for presidential elections in Venezuela since in the last ones held in 2013, almost 80% participated.
Thus, according to this bulletin, Maduro got 67% of the votes. But taking into account the abstention, the votes obtained represent 30.8% of the total registered voters.
While of the other candidates: Henri Falcón obtained 21% of the votes, Javier Bertucci 11% and Reinaldo Quijada 1%.

The Bolivarians seek to establish themselves as junior partners of imperialism by appropriating the crumbs that fall from the looting, over the other bourgeois fraction of the old oligarchy -as servile and pro-imperialist as Maduro- grouped in the MUD. Maduro and his generals talk about "coup d'état of the right", on the one hand, and on the other hand MUD talks about "democracy" and "restore the constitutional order"; they are nothing but two gangs in rivalry to define who surrenders the country to the parasites of international financial capital through the full and ongoing payment of the fraudulent foreign debt to Wall Street, as well as the looting of natural resources.

While the MUD calls for abstention, Maduro sets a scam with candidates that fit him

Widely rejected by the masses, the hungry henchman Maduro got over 40% difference over the second "candidate". How did it happened?

On the one hand, the bourgeois of the MUD do not tolerate being second in the distribution of business with imperialism and not being able to compete electorally with the rules of Maduro and his generals; they called for abstention, also opportunistically because they knew that most of the masses -who were starved and subjected to barbarism- had no intention of voting, not because the MUD called it but because of the absence of an alternative of the working class.
On the other hand, Maduro’s government put together a lie to keep the bayonets of its new bourgeois fraction of generals, linked by multiple economic ties to world imperialism. An electoral farce with other candidates that fit him who come from the heart of Chavism like Henri Falcón, former Bolivarian governor of Lara State; Reinaldo Quijada of the "critical" Chavism -supported by Marea Socialista-; or Javier Bertucci who did not come directly from the ruling party but who has fuel export business with the military that administrate PDVSA.

Maduro presented himself with these "candidates" who shared his program (and the one of MUD): paying the foreign debt, surrendering the country's resources more and more and to apply higher adjustments against the people. That is why Maduro in Venezuela happened the same as the electoral fraud last March in Russia, where the 7 candidates who participated with Putin could have been perfectly members of a common electoral campaign. In the same way, Maduro could well have been nominated along with these 3 candidates with the same electoral party because, with respect to the interests of the workers, they are all the same, but it was Maduro himself who received the votes. Thus already the result was known in advance. A real farce.

 

Food: a blackmail against the masses to force them to vote

However, despite the set up of Maduro’s candidacies, high abstention was expected. That is why, the government blackmailed those who were not going to vote on the one hand with threats of dismissals in the state companies and the public sector; and on the other hand with threats of ending the distribution of the food bags of which almost everybody depend on; whether they are employed or unemployed, because in any case no salary or salary is not enough to cover the cost of food or a single person, much less a whole family.
To avoid the rejection of the workers against this blackmail, the NEB eliminated the possibility of a null vote (voting for none of the candidates).
On the other hand, Maduro demagogically offered a bonus equivalent to ten minimum wages for everyone who voted. This "offer" -most workers knew- would not be and was not fulfilled by Maduro.

 

The Bolivarians try to stay after doing imperialism’s dirty work

Thus, these bolivarian henchmen, after having crushed, until now, the many attempts of the hungry masses to look for the bread where it is, hoarded by the great marketing chains of the old oligarchy and in the deposits of the hoarding generals, intends to take hold through its electoral farce and keep guaranteeing stability so that the imperialist bourgeoisie and its local junior partners keep with their businesses, imposing the economic and social catastrophe against the workers, keeping them in such famine never seen in Venezuela and in the collapse of all public services. That is, keep the working class in barbarism and crush it with blood and fire if they rebel. There is a reason why Maduro and his generals are friends of the genocidal Al Assad who sent his congratulations, as well as Putin -the gendarme of the oppressed peoples of Eurasia- and also the regime of the Ayatollahs, all assassins of the Syrian masses on behalf of imperialism.

Because "Bolivarians", after expropriating the anti-imperialist struggle of the great exploited and oppressed masses of Latin America, are today agents of the Yankees so that they can regain control of what they consider their "backyard". As in Cuba, where after restoring capitalism through the pact with Obama and Chavez, the Castros have waved the Yankee flag in La Havana and are rushing to do business, for which the military uniform and the medals are changed by suit and tie.

Unlike the lies that Castro-Stalinism agitates to deceive the workers of the world about the alleged anti-imperialist character of the "Bolivarians", they strive to demonstrate; that they are not worried about the hunger and martyrdom of the poor people, but rather that their priority is to fulfill its masters of the world banking, as, for example, Ortega in Nicaragua Morales in Bolivia, applying labour flexibilization and cutting health, education budgets, to pay the IMF, demonstrating that they were never more that a rodeo to return to Wall Street and that can be so effective for the lackey "work", as are Macri, Piñera, Santos or Peña Nieto.

 

To eat, there is no other way: breaking with imperialism and expropriating capitalists

Today more than ever it has been confirmed that, in order to eat the Venezuelan workers need to make the socialist revolution, expropriating without compensation imperialist transnationals, banks, factories, supermarket chains and the lands of the oligarchy. Therefore, it is necessary to defeat and destroy the bourgeois Armed Forces that guarantee the looting of the nation.
Neither the MUD nor Trump and their bourgeois governments of the "Lima Group" are allies of the Venezuelan masses. Their true allies are the workers of the continent, like those who today are fighting against the onslaught and labour flexibilization plans in Argentina and Brazil, like the miners of Bolivia and the immigrant and African-American workers of the United States.

Out with Maduro! Out with MUD! Out with imperialism!
No to the payment of external debt!
Out with the oil and mining transnationals! PDVSA 100% state owned, under workers’ control!
Expropriation without compensation of all the banks, Fedecamaras and the big supermarket chains!
Expropriation without compensation of lands monopolized by the oligarchy, and put them to produce!

Immediate dissolution of the Bolivarian National Guard and the Bolivarian National Police!
We must disarm the generals of the bolibourgeoisie who guarantee the businesses of the rich over the hunger of the people! Committees of privates to drop the chain of commands and arrest the murderous officers!
As the communers of Paris said: Whoever has the weapons, has bread! A rifle to each worker and each peasant! Workers' self-defense committees to defend ourselves from the generals who starve and murder us!

The Maduro-Trump pact: release the politicians of MUD and leave the labour fighters in prison Trump and the MUD have "denounced" that the Maduro’s government has political prisoners in Venezuela and press for their release. They are leaders of MUD. Maduro frees them as part of the negotiation they call "dialogue". But MUD did not defend or defend the workers of the Civetchi (car manufacturer), who were prosecuted for trying to form a union and defend their rights against labour flexibilization; or like Rodney Álvarez who is in the dungeons of the regime under false charges, just for participating in a workers' meeting at the Ferrominera gate. These cases are not mentioned by MUD or Trump because, like Maduro, they agree to imprison the workers' fighters who are the true political prisoners of the regime.
