Our struggle for an International Conference to break the fence against the Syrian masses and end the massacre of Al Assad and Putin on behalf of imperialism
Last December 3rd a Conference was held through Skype where several organizations that support the Syrian revolution participated. There were comrades from the Anti-War Committee in Solidarity with the Struggles for Self-Determination, activists for the Syrian revolution from the of the US working class, leaders of the Syrian papers “The Truth of the Oppressed” and other groups members of the FLTI, Syrian refugees in Europe, the Alliance of Socialist of Middle East and other activists for the Syrian revolution in Europe and the world.
During this conference there were debates on whether the Syrian revolution was alive or not and if the Conference of Geneva must be confronted or not –since in it imperialism and its agents coordinate the counterrevolutionary in Syria and the entire Middle East. This debate remained opened. Moreover there were proposals to launch a unified campaign for the freedom of political prisoners and to hold a day of support with the Syrian masses, a new Day of Rage.
Below we publish the proposal presented to this conference:
